The best thing about the story is that it brought out in each person who heard it a different perspective. Each is entitled to their own opinion however, the opinion of the peace belongs to the author. Too often when hearing stories, it is easier to pick apart grammars, schematics, and other trivial parts. But true, just, and sincere person will look to the storyline and the lesson to be learned. In other words, they will not look at the emperor’s clothing. They will look at the emperors actions, strategies, determination, and will. To me this was a very enjoyable story. It was a story that I was interested in not how it was read or told, I was interested in the message that the story held.
Another heap adversity upon adversity story, out numbered, out classed, out-everthinged, but the plucky humans find the one really illogical weak point in the vastly superior aliens fleet and make the win. I understand it is HFY story telling, and that there is an element of suspending disbelief but screwing disbelief up setting it on fire and playing intergalactic ping-pong with it is asking a little to much.
Horrible, horrible narration. Spoken too fast. No appropriate tonal inflection. Drastically incorrect pronunciation. Story is boring and repetitive. And, by the way, Admirals outrank Commanders, not the other way around.
You do realize you can slow down a video don't you? Click or tap on the gear symbol in the video and change the speed if you don't like it. As to the inflection problem well that is an issue with the text to speech program the channel operator chose to use.
