This was my 5th build during the Playtest of the full game. Was a nice challenge to fit everything in.
Its interesting to see the change in battlements from Finsterwacht to svømmeborg and how i would do them now. Its night an day.
Even with the changes i would do now, its still a build im very proud of.

I like how this mirrors real life castles. Starts out as a basic fortification, ends up being a palatial nightmare to maintain property for regional heritage foundations.
The level of Creative Freedom and Control this game provides is seriously Insane!!

I'd love to see a recreation of rattay castle or maybe solitude or windhelm from skyrim. Or even high hrothgar from skyrim although im not sure that would have the same vibe not being super high up but it has a very satisfying symmetrical design. The tower of london or the bastille prison could also be cool. Maybe just a norman castle or harlech castle. Damn im so excited to get this game.

most def gonna finish it. but recreating is always harder and takes longer then just bulding something on your own. gotta make it as close as possible to the original. so its very tiring process aswell. The build complexity, as with your other vids, is astounding. I would be astonished, if this channel does not take of soon.
Perhaps sprinkle in some tutorial-style videos or slow down/ zoom into the more intricate build details.
bro YES i would SO watch videos showing off different 'techniques' and such, that'd be sick...
i think it'd be nice to have it in text too to keep the kinda cozy atmosphere and just have the sounds of the building and music, but up to the creator anyway

Wonderful work. The game gets released in a few hours but I'm as interested to see how the games gets developed from this point onwards. There is so much potential

Ye. I went with svømme Borg. But separated makes no sense as a name so I put it together even tho it completely changes it's name. Had a giggle and kept it.

Would you do something like the Schloss Marienburg at some point? Seems like it has plenty of interesting details, like the spiral staircase towers in the courtyard.
Oh yeah maybe. Schloss Marienburg looks incredible and would probably be fun to recreate. Also im looking at Burg Eltz or Hohenzollern. But currently i have a few projects going and i cant seem to finish any of them because i always start something new. Also not the biggest fan of Recreations just because i feel really pressured to make them as close to the original as possible and that tough as is and takes so much more time then just building whatever comes to your mind. But im certainly not against, evidently looking at Burg Falkenstein i did. So yeah maybe in the Future. no promises.
Just recreating castles, however beautiful, is of course somewhat limiting. Still, I note that you incorporate many structural and stylistic aspects of real-world castle architecture - which is frankly what makes your builds so appealing to me.
Burg Eltz is certainly a great inspiration - or a picturesque ruin like Burg Hanstein.
Mont Saint-Michel would be another pretty one

mosty none. also no planning. i just slap together and hope it will look good once im done. (no im not joking, this is actually all i do)

not to release. the timelpase feature that was in the early playtests has to go under a bit of recoding until its ready.

Very cool project. I like your Creativity! But isn't the main point of TinyGlade to come down, relax, let go of the hectic pace. That is destroyed in a timelapse, isn't it? I mean sure, on TH-cam what's fast gets clicked fast because people don't have an attention span, but I'd love to share your full length build process. Could you do another re-upload where you use normal speed?

@@pixelpatron I think we gave you the answer in the discord like 30min ago. You enable the experimental camera controls in the control settings.

What do u do after building is done? Thats all? Should have online players visiting your build by paying entry coins or something, vast map , ncp’s visiting , wild animal attacks , u visiting others builds … just building it is not enough, dt u can do with lego blocks as well..
Not every game needs to have everything.
Tiny glade is simply a chill castle/cottage builder. I plan on using it to make maps for DnD but in general it is simplyy for fun building.
Also try building this castle in Lego and spending less than the price of this game.
