I think it's pretty good. I love the cluttered feel of the houses all jumbled up together. Has that old European city vibe, you know? Where stuff is just kind of built right on top of existing stuff. I wanna see someone to too re create Kowloon Walled City too, coz that would be cool as hell
@@bottomofastairwell good idea. i didnt had kowloon on my radar. the games visuals really lend itself to that tight cluttered look. maybe someone does it before me. XD already enough projects going.
Amazing build!!.Consider using the walk camera mode to show your buildings in the future, it would be nice to have a perspective of someone walking through the village, and maybe show it for a longer time 🤗.
This is insane. There's so much world building just within the structures. I love this build and after playing the launch it surpasses so much of what I thought possible in the game from just trying things out on my own
Besides that it was sometimes difficult to see what you were working on, it was overall a real pleasant video. The city looks incredible! Really cool to see what you accomplished and how you made certain things.
@@cptgobblegum yeah it was a early video. I'm still learning. When I watch it back I really would love to have done it differently. But glad you liked it anyway.
Wooaah this is soo cool. You are so creative with all the tools! I am learning from you. Had so much fun figuring out everything but seeing you i havent even used everything in all its possibilities. Im in awe
Let's hope the dev would add drawbridge or any wooden bridge in the near future. Kinda painful to see you arrange those wooden gates so they look like a wooden bridge :')
The only thing I wish this game had is people walking peacefully through the area. I like that they have animals, but people would make it feel so alive. I don't want to manage them, just have them there living.
That would add a ton of processing power. There is a reason there are only a handful of animals, and most builds will be single buildings, not whole cities like this, so how does the game determine how many people to simulate?
This game looks so promising. I hope in time they can provide slightly larger build zones. I would love to be able to build a full fantasy kingdom city. Would really help me visualize my realms in my own personal writing projects.
this will most likely not be possible. the game is heravily CPU bound at that scale due to simulation of the individual bricks. acurate light simulation and all the interactions that gets calculated each edit. and it would just hinder a lot of lower specced PCs to be able to play the game. So devs needed to restrict it at some point. notes on my experiences with the performance are in teh desription. so dont get your hopes up about bigger glades. but never say never
@@private1177 Yeah well onc can only hope haha. I mean if chip processing power allows for it and games are developed to utilize the full capability of multi-threaded processors then it might be more possible. It's the same issue with all simulation games being that it's built around single core performance. Either clock speeds need to get higher or multi-thread enabled games need to become more mainstream.
@@kyleenglot9184 Definitely get the idea! I played the demo but wasnt impressed but now that the game came out yt recommended me bigger builds. I immediately bought the game and spend 5 hours building one of my important locations (a very big building) and i can tell you: try it. do it. i got so much inspiration and a new look on certain angles that i can describe in my writing, it was definitely worth doing! I wonder if the creator looks at people's builds and goes, "Jeez, I thought they'd build a house or two. How did they build gothic cathedrals and fortress walls??? Should I... add DLC or something to make this easier?" lol - amazing work
ah yeah Ana and Tom didnt expect the Game to become this. Quite frankly the scope of it became more immense then they initially thought. They already added a ton of our feeback before release. And still more to come. it just takes a while.

Man, I really hope they create a gallery where you can visit other people's builds, and have a Lil tour.
I'm sure they will. It's only a team comprised of 2 people, so we will get updates although they might be slow.
