This is no doubt going to show more ‘enthusiasts’ that Kenilworth is open. Also LC300 is a massive step back from the former glory of the solid axles and V8s. Dress it up as much as you want, it’s still an over priced shopping trolly. Just my 2 cents.

Exactly the reason why Roothy was punted.. these guys and their shine is leaving them... they will be selling terrain tamer and mahindras next and it'll be another couple of young "okka" blokes trying to sell you a 300
Watch his first video. Can see it flexing there...
@@Sam-LC300 Yeh I agree. Looks like the TJM lift on this one has lost all droop at the front
Would like to see this car in one of ur vids of the toughest track in Australia or even cape York against the other boys
Yeah not bad. 80 series would still wipe the floor with it I'm sure! 👍🤪
Easily!
And the 100 haha.
80 would be rusting all over the floor more like it.
Except the 300 would be much nicer to do some touring as well..... that's why you buy it.
It looks awesome, however “a few key mods” it’s $20k worth there.
20k is loose change to 300 owners
$20k is fk all when modifying any 4WD
that hill is crazy....i would just give up and barbeque right away
Fookin Warwick Nara mara mate😂😂
TJM's probably getting sweaty palms watching this despite saying to bust it out :P
Anyone know where this is filmed? Would love to hit those tracks up. Reckon Imbil State Forest?
what a beast the 300 is
Where'd the snorkel finish at the rear bumper? !
Finally 300lc with a spare wheel carrier fyi I saw it from the picture and haven't watched it yet so if I'm wrong no cap
A piece of string sticky taped to the roof with a weight on end will help show the steepness of the hills.
I would have one in a heartbeat! Great looking mods on this one. I think it looks better when modified than the 200 did. RIP 200, bring on the 300's.
Also nice to see your featuring some defending in your videos. Can I ask for more please? Everyone shows the tough climbs, but we all know that coming down can me more dangerous so I think it would be great to show more of that.
Unclear if he was using the hill descent control. Looks way too tentative and using the brakes.
That bullbar looks horrendous. Who at tjm is giving the go ahead on them lol
Hey Shaun'o great video,👌👊👏 what size & brand tyre's are on the 300 ?
New cruisers are built for looks, old cruisers built for performance and still looked good, 1hz Na could pull 1 mill ks easy and they came out 30yrs ago, I just don't think they built tough anymore
Bad for business when you build them too good lol
@@lockednliftedgq nah Ur not wrong but still old generation engineering was better just the good days u know
@@stan_smith395 my 1hz lasted 280k before needing new rings, idk how people get 1million out of them maybe heaps of highway kms. Mine was serviced every 7500km
I have a 1998 1hzturbo 105, 276 thousand ks people laugh at me people think it's a heavy heap of shit but ask me to pull them out of the sand etc walks up any hill and comfy to drive easy to work on. KISS- KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID
@@AdmissionGaming Toyota service schedule states oil change every 5000km and filter every 10k. If you changed oil every 7500km, that's 50% longer duration than recommended and wore your motor out quicker. Oil is cheap
U got a nice rig there it's a beast should mind having one of these 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I think in the future when you are asked to test drive a 4WD you should have a competition to have a subscriber go with you and be a spotter and you can also help them with any questions they have either about the 4wd you are testing or the 4WD they own.
Great idea! But the subscriber should at least do SOME of the driveling. Jack in Mexico
@@jackcirrito3458 yeah but I don’t think the dealership would like it if the subscriber caused any damage.
If he was driving his own and one of the boys were in the passenger seat explaining things while they are driving.
If they have done 4WD before then see if they are aloud to have a test drive because they might buy one like your testing
@@darrensice1550 Yeah. I guess I was just fantasizing about a perfect world.
Is it just traction control assist? Was there a rear locker on that rig???🤔
100% improvement on looks with that front bumper in the bin. What were they thinking?
heard countless times about bar work and comparing a stock to modified vehicle but DIDN'T hear whether it was apples for apples . modified one top of the range, diff locks etc etc . appears you forgot to mention these things .. therefore is it a true comparison ??
curious if it has the same issues with CV shafts the 200 has.
Hate to be a stick in the mud, but when was this filmed at Kenilworth? Just curious as there are little to no tracks left open due to idiots driving the still closed trails by HQ Plantations. As a local it’s more than annoyed me and my family and friends who all live 5 mins away. Bad enough LCMP has now been taken over by city slickers trying to offset their carbon footprint from their mining companies. This is no doubt going to show more ‘enthusiasts’ that Kenilworth is open.
Also LC300 is a massive step back from the former glory of the solid axles and V8s.
Dress it up as much as you want, it’s still an over priced shopping trolly.
Just my 2 cents.
Well said
Didn’t someone at LCMP get killed? Makes sense for them to shut it down to keep the fkwits out when things like that happen
This is Kenilworth mate, yep! Every track we filmed on is still open, at least they were last month.
It’s an expensive vehicle sure, but it’s pretty impressive that it can do what we’ve done in some seriously built up 4WDs
That 300 looks awesome/amazing, love the look of it
6 months went really quick
With all the doubters going on about the hot vee , in the new 300 series , and how hot it's going to get why don't you do a proper test with heat senses on the turbos and that area .
Do the test on some normal to hot days both towing and not . Thanks
Wow with the dramatic music! Have y'all put James Cameron on the payroll! Lolol!!! A long way from Shorty and Sooty!
Its capable and the rear bull bar is the work of art 💯
I like it , can I buy one of this ,to ship in Mozambique? How much for the 300 series full modified and to ship to Mozambique?
The GR has a steep bumper. Ideal for offroading
Now that the LC300, LX600, Tundra, and Sequoia all share a platform, this gives me a lot of hope for the North American offerings. Still a bit mopey about not getting the diesel on our side of the pond though.
I'll need one for the apocalypse.
Now you need to do the exact same thing in a modified Y62 and let use know your thoughts...
hi Shauno jez hall here, my partner and I have a 2001 Subaru outback and want to take it places you take yours its almost stock and wondering what you would do to it if you had it to make it better offroad?
Just ordered a 300 now I got to wait haha.
What's the price for a 300 with lockers and all the TJM gear.
Seeing this six-figure rig out here on the trails is cool. Would there be any chance that any manufacturer would create a bare bones 4wd That's just simple? Preferably without spending over 100k...
A 70 series, toyota have been making it for 40 years
@@JordanGlennon you're right.. maybe if that was available in the states I wouldn't be so salty about it 😅
Be happy to have it in my possession
Very happy
I have one on order. Was told could be 14 months wait +???Who knows.I got 1k as a gamble to see what happens. Maybe some new accessories could be out
And how much extra on the $100k vehicle have been spent on this to make it what it is in the vid? $20k? $30k?
If I could afford, I’d go for a GR and put TJM mods for lap around this great big country 🤙🏼🤙🏼🇦🇺. Awesome content as always mate👏🏼🙏🏼.
Same 👍
a GR with this mods would be the complete mud king
Actually a very nice truck
Gokil ini mah .. Ni mobil udah dibikin kyak gini aja...
not bad for 200k tractor 😂
What type of traction boards are those?
Solid performance! Though I noticed it wasn't really that flexi. Is KDSS not working or is does it have?
KDSS is only available in the GR Sport version. Not sure what model this was, but it didn't have the grill of the GR.
@@mathewcampbell8479 that's a bit disappointing considering that KDSS is available on almost all LC200 trim levels and Prados
@@vanderz1012 yeah it sucks. Kdss is awesome...
