I fished there with show-me catfish on 9/10/23 for 4 hours. I caught 3 blues 18, 24, 28 pounds and a channel and a flathead that were both 7 pounds. But you really got into em! Great video.
You did a good job but I don't recommend being out there alone... I work in the st.louis harbor there has been alot of people that has passed away out there for less... stay safe and again good job
nice video ,, new subscriber here will watch many videos i hope ..as a retired truck driver seen the arch many times ,but as you said not from the same view ,, thank you
I caught a freshwater Drum ~18inches just south of there (Alton Illinois) bank fishing the Mississippi. Also saw a Gar carcass washed ashore. Good area for fishin
I like the video but was wandering about your trolling motor what size lb thrust it is and 12 / 24 / 36 volt and how long does the battery last in those currents and what is the average speed i guess you keep on the trolling motor.
Note the different color of the water. He is just downstream from the conference with the Missouri and the two rivers have not yet blended. The brown water in the distance is from the Missouri, which is called The Big Muddy for a reason.
I've been watching your channels for quite some time now. Great content every time. You should consider getting a fishing partner/camera man. Have a great day.
I want to hear from you on how you store your soft plastics. I'm guessing you don't do much bass fishing but I still think you'd have some pretty solid insight. I want to hear from someone who isn't trying to sell a product. Thanks
I live on pool 9. Are you just drifting the main channel? Or is there something you are looking for as far as ledges etc? I have the same setup here as far as the cells go to. Very cool vids.
This Williamson county boy would pay good money for a day trip on the river! I ran that stretch of the river for years as a deckhand, always wanted to fish it!
Stl catfishing guide takes people out in this same spot he’s at in this video. Check them out of Facebook if your interested. (I’ve never met or used there service, just seen them on Facebook and heard good things about them!)
Love the channel. You did a magnificent job on the boat!

I just recently discovered the Big muddy access in Arrow rock and saw this comment. Is for sure a fitting name!
The Missouri isn't called the big muddy. The big muddy is a entirely different river that comes off the Mississippi.😊
@nobreakjake2955 the trail is called big muddy trail. In arrow rock

I asked the same question. Good to see he isn’t answering you either lol
How deep is the river near the arch? I have heard it’s about 100 feet but not sure if that us correct.

Can you eat any fish on the Mississippi
I do just not any over 15
Let’s just rip there gills out !
If you are turning em loose man don’t gill em they may swim off fine but it will easily kill them!
Blue cat are really good eating. Advice don't go on that river when it's windy. Really big waves
