I would be quite happy if you could switch the noise gate on each channel to be automix instead. Surely not much more processing involved... Deeply disappointing that this hasn’t been included in V2 update.
As I’ve previously said this mixer is the business for me but very disappointing that the rack mount kit, comprising of two angled pieces of metal, isn’t supplied and in the UK is a stupid £107 for the said. Come on Yamaha sort yourselves out, this is just daylight robbery. So a thumbs down for the added extra from me.

I love Yamaha but when it comes offer a basic concept of a digital console their products has lots of limitations compared to the competitors I own a TF5 and I'm not upgrading unless they come with a better design adding more capabilities on their low range price consoles
While I agree with what you said about Yamaha and limitations versus competitors. I don’t think this is made to be a upgrade from tf I think it’s meant for smaller low channel count jobs. My guess more corporate than music.
But without automix it’s virtually useless for corporate. Speaking as someone who’s been doing corporate sound for 25 years, I don’t want to go back to riding faders.
This is just a mini TF, less the Dugan....The TF is the most hated console Yamaha has ever made. Surely they could have done better and made the interface more like the actual DM7 if they are going to use the DM designation. Very underpowered mixer...at $2k price tag (for dante version) should have at least 8 aux and 4 matrix...
to Yamaha technician , must be insert multi band compressor 4 band to all out put , because live music need energi , and added di dgital out put like optical and eas/ ebu, because sound quality output must be importen, tha Yamaha

Looks like a great new small format mixing console, could this be the long awaited successor of the famous 01X of the early 2000’s? I still have 1 working by the way, only in stand alone mode unfortunately as no current drivers.
In addition to small shows, small acts, this would be perfect for smaller corporate GS, breakouts, and interviews/panel discussions/forums If it ONLY had an automix function. What're the chances that Yamaha will come to their senses and add this in the next software, firmware upgrade?

How is there absolutely no support for output routing in the manual or any of these videos?? I've mixed two shows with this so far and had to run my sidefills from a bus and do a whole separate mix for them because I couldn't find any information about routing from matrices anywhere online (or really any mention of matrices in general) and couldn't figure it out on my own in the limited amount of downtime I get with the mixer. I even went in in offline mode on the app at home and went through every menu I could find and still couldn't find any way to choose which physical output I route a matrix to (or even a bus). Does anyone know how to do this?

one issue for me.. there is no sdcard slot for recording all the individual track without the need of an external pc.
