Today we will learn more about traditional Thai pancakes Khanom thang taek.
Khanom Thang Taek is a traditional Thai rice cake dessert. It’s made with rice flour, coconut milk and salt which gives the desserts its sweet taste! The cakes are then steamed and served with either sweet or salty toppings.
The cake is usually topped off with ingredients like toasted sesame seeds, peanut powder, palm sugar syrup, grated coconut, fried shallots, and ground peanuts!
