    5:35 ; In August we had to turn around at that same spot, the damn hadn't been opened in a while so the water was high! We also had the same welder help out our friend who's exhaust was falling off!

    Be really nice if the West coast van island had a trip like this, would be great for tourism.

    An incredible adventure! The amount of stories you'd get from doing something like this. You'd be the star of the kitchen party with all the tales you could tell. Excellent work!

    Those birds that you keep referring to are Canada Jays or Gray Jays. They are a staple of the northern forests. Love your videos. We have done NFLD for the past 3 years, thanks in great part to your website. Thanks again from a fellow Nova Scotian.

      I love those little birds, they're so friendly! Thanks for the information. And thanks for watching my videos and for taking the time to post a message. I'm glad to know you've been to new Newfoundland 3 times now because of my website and videos, that's great!

    Great episode again.. I was told that Bottomless Pond had a stream system running under it. Thus the name "Bottomless". Over the years that under bottom stream has gotten clogged with debris. Kinda like clogging your sink. So as the water comes off the surrounding mountains/hills it's likely going to continue to rise.

    • @EastCoastATV
      @EastCoastATV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I heard something similar about that pond. It will be interesting to see how high the water gets. Thanks for watching, Ken.

    Man I can't say enough of how appreciative I am of all the hard work you've done with your website. Me and a group of guys are going to go from my home town in Holyrood on the Avalon and cross the island in august. I have a couple of gpx trails that may interest you where you can go from Argentia to Dildo (made famous by Jimmy Kimmel) and the brewery there and then head across to Bay Roberts to get on the CBN trailway. You can then head all the way up to Bay De Verde.
    Would you have the gpx track for Deer Lake to Corner Brook you did in this video? I've downloaded your gpx tracks from your website but it is not one continous track for this leg.

      I'm glad to hear my website information is helpful for you! I hope you all have a fantastic trip across NL. If you send me a message on my Facebook NL page I can send you the GPS track and may get the one from you that goes to Dildo. www.Facebook.com/CrossingNewfoundlandByATV

    • @EastCoastATV
      @EastCoastATV  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I am working on something for NS. You can join the Nova Scotia GPX exchange on Facebook. They have lots of gps tracks to download.

I will mention it in one of my new videos in Nova Scotia later in the Spring as well so even more people can enjoy it and hopefully contribute to it as well.

    You gotta be careful with those gray jays they’ll eat you out a house and home. They will take every bit of food you got and stored away they’re pretty pleasant in that manner

    • @EastCoastATV
      @EastCoastATV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I kind of got the impression they must be hoarding and storing that food some place. They are definitely friendly. Thanks for watching Glen.

    What is the longest time that you've done on your trips. I think you said someone did a hole month

    • @EastCoastATV
      @EastCoastATV  ปีที่แล้ว

      The longest I've done is 9 days of riding. When I retire, I will probably spend a whole month there at least once!

  • @Timberbeartrail
    @Timberbeartrail 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I noticed you don’t spend a lot of time photographing ATVs everything is always side-by-side reason I mention this is because those of us that have ATVs like to see the set up like to see how they handle the terrain like to see you know some action by the TV but you refuse to do that, at least in the series of videos

    • @EastCoastATV
      @EastCoastATV  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't onw a regular ATV anymore so I can't film one. I do have several series of NL Trips where I ride ATV's. Here is just one th-cam.com/play/PLnNXUZEtUF0f7msU7JzcFDlhxDdOKoCRz.html&si=iRGyPi4X8Zjn_z5J.
