Hi Stephen Thanks for the this great video. Is it possible to get product indexation or ranking increasing without PPC. As i have added words and exact phrases by rotations monthly, but ranking seems stable and failed to increase. is it beneficial to add exact match keywords in title, bullets or other attributes or just adds words to increase rankings.
Hey thank you and you're welcome! Having an exact match of the keyword phrase does contribute to increased indexing. Therefore, it is beneficial to add exact match keywords in your product title, bullet points, and other attributes. Adding words alone may not be enough to increase rankings. It's important to optimize your listing with relevant and specific keywords that accurately describe your product. Additionally, regularly monitoring and adjusting your keywords based on search trends and customer behavior can help improve your rankings over time.
@@MyAmazonGuy Thanks for your quick and informative response, somehow i have added phrases in attributes too but unable to still indexed. As i am going with very limited budget for advertising So, is ranking indexing seems hard to crack without PPC.
When it comes to keywords, it is generally not recommended to intentionally include misspelled words in your product listings. While some sellers may argue that including common misspellings can help capture additional search traffic, it is important to prioritize accuracy and professionalism in your listings. Misspelled words can give the impression of carelessness or lower quality, which may negatively impact your brand image and customer trust. As for using tools like Helium 10 to view keyword search frequency for ASINs, it can be a helpful strategy to understand the search volume and popularity of specific keywords. Tools like Helium 10 provide valuable insights into keyword research, including search volume, competition, and other metrics that can help optimize your listings and improve visibility. However, it's important to note that keyword search frequency can fluctuate over time, and it's always recommended to conduct thorough keyword research using multiple tools and sources to get a comprehensive understanding of the market and customer search behavior. Ultimately, the goal should be to find a balance between incorporating relevant and high-performing keywords in your listings while maintaining accurate and professional content.
Thanks for all the content you share! I have a question, from when we optimize the keywords, until they are indexed and the SEO begins to have an impact, how long does it take?
Even the internet activities we perform for fun can be valuable sources of money. I like doing the keyword research, as it tests your logic, it is a mind game, manipulating your keywords and your competitor's keywords. It is like playing a scrabble game, where you need to link words from lettered tiles to create a list of indexed keywords. If the aforementioned set of search engine standards is followed, a website will rank better on search engine results pages (SERP). These recommendations take into account elements like keyword density, backlinking, domain authority, etc. The Amazon SEO businesses use effective search engine optimization techniques to provide your listing the most exposure, which is followed by a greater conversion rate, more sales, and higher ranks. As a business owner, which do you prefer doing: SEM or SEO? Thanks for this informative video.

Hi Stephen thanks for the great content as always! Once we identify our strike zone key words in phase 3 of a launch the goal is to move these up in organic ranking. What is the best way, in your opinion, to do this? Exact match PPC, duplicate key words in title, bullets, alt text, and description to increase the number of uses? Appreciate any advice!
@@MyAmazonGuy Thanks Steven. I was just doing it now and wanted to know, would it be sufficient to use Helium 10s index checker to see if I'm indexed for individual words to then use for the search terms section or would this be a wrong way to do this?

Hi Stephen Couple of questions on this video: 1 - early on, the screen said that the #1 Organic spot gets the most sales. Is this still true over the 4 or so sponsored posts? And especially if the #1 organic product is ALSO in the top 4 sponsored product spots 2 - you didn't mention Platinum keywords, but have them populated. What is the difference?
Answer to # 1: Generally, the products listed in the number one organic spot on Amazon tend to get more sales than those in lower spots. Regarding sponsored products, these are paid placements and are not considered organic listings. Sponsored products can appear at the top of search results, and while they can attract clicks and sales, their placement does not necessarily mean they will outsell organic listings. Although the field is still available and can be filled at the backend, it will probably drive no results.

Hi My amazon guy! Just curious based on the frequency of the keywords, would you place the importance of higher frequent keywords on the title, bullet points then backend search terms, in the exact order of importance? I am asking because i don't know if Amazon thinks the title keywords is the most important vs. backend?
Hello, Amazon's search algorithm considers all product listing fields when determining relevancy and ranking in search results. However, the order of importance can vary depending on the specific search query and the relevance of each field to that query. In general, the title is considered the most important field as it is the first thing customers see when searching and browsing for products. Backend search terms are less visible to customers but still play a role in improving your product's relevancy and visibility in search results. It's important to include relevant keywords in your backend search terms to help Amazon's search algorithm understand the product's attributes and improve its ranking for relevant search queries. Overall, it's important to optimize all product listing fields for relevant keywords, but prioritizing the title and bullet points can have the greatest impact on improving visibility and sales.

Great video, Steven. I'm working as an Amazon Keyword Researcher and I'm always on the lookout for great tips. Just want to confirm about the back end search terms, for newly launched product, it's all right to repeat important keywords in the backend search terms, then after maybe 3 months, we can remove the duplicate keywords there, Is that correct? Thanks a lot
Hi Stephen, how do you get the advanced view up on amazon in seller central I don’t have that option I can only see the back end keyword input line all the others you have are not there? Thanks
you said fill out the entire key word section on amazon but amazon limits to 1 byte. how many key words fill one byte? i kept filling in key words and got an error message
When it comes to Amazon keyword limits, the limit is not 1 byte, but rather it is typically up to 250 bytes in total for all keywords in the Search Terms field. A byte can be a single character (like "a" or "1") or a special character. So, if you input "Amazon" as a keyword, it consists of 6 characters, thus it would count as 6 bytes. Similarly, a keyword phrase like "high quality" would count as 11 bytes (9 characters and 2 spaces). If you're getting an error message, it could be that your total keywords exceed the byte limit. To fix this, you might need to remove or shorten some of your keywords until you are under the 250 byte limit. Remember, it's not just about quantity. The quality and relevance of your keywords are also very important for your product's visibility and ranking on Amazon.
I now see why as a buyer, it can be so difficult to find what I really want when sellers are selecting so many loosely related terms for their product's search. When I search for something, I get mostly uninteresting items in my search results and sadly Amazon has no boolean operators for advance search to better filter my search results to find what I want. Do you have any advice for buyers to better find the item we're searching for? (I know we can select the department but that also provides limited help.)

What pisses me off is the new amazon listings only have a 'search terms' option for keywords. Any way to get back the subject matter options etc?
No. Amazon didn't see value in the data so they removed it.
So I realize that the keywords in the title that get search priority are the ones after the first few words in the title like almost to the end. And no title words, brands (like TikTok) or repetition in the search terms
Thank you for sharing this video. Great content.

Check user permissions
Is it correct that the extra fields such as 'Intended Use', 'Target Audience' and 'Other Attributes' is removed by Amazon, as it doesn't show up in my backend Keywords field. Or is this only for certain categories?
Yes, these went way of the dodo bird.

Hi, stephen. Thanks for such good video as always. One question, I have in my mind is, should we use our main keyword in search terms as well, as we have already used in title? If we running short of keywords, should we use some keywords that we have already used in our listing content, in our search terms?
Search terms are for Spanish, misspellings, long tail keywords, etc

I thought amazon didn't let you put misspellings in the search terms?
Confirming its kosher.
Amazon says there is “no need for misspellings”
It's crazy, but all I want to know is how to filter freakin' book search by author name and by title at the same time, because some titels belong to several authors. That's ridiculos that it is not straightforward... What do I miss??
I’ll get back with you on this
THANK YOU.
Thanks for watching!
Does it possible to write weed , cannabies, etc, on amazon search terms ??
While not as risky as copy, I would still be careful in doing so. Very volatile category
Does this still work in 2024?
