Jason Stephens, why did you say that? Now that other pack of comments is another annoying thing to put in and now I have to deal with another bullshit on comments. I just want those other copycatters to stop and they do not listen to me. I just want them deleted. It is too much for me. You keep doing it and I get mad even more.
It really is though. I remember when it came out. I thought, naw they’re full of it this is too heavy to be for Jesus. Then I thought of archangel Michael. Let’s go!
Nailed. Dead. Risen. is by far the heaviest thing from that era of deathcore. This album is still so much better than their other efforts. Something about the raw production and the grind influenced vocals and the mixing just make this feel like a Deathcore LP with Black Metal production. I love this album.
Love that uncompromisingly raw sound. I don't know, it sounds authentic to me for a lack of better words. The Cleansing by Suicide Silence is another good example
Impending Doom is one of the best groups in the industry right now. I love how this video looks so gritty and brutal. The scenery and special effects make it look like something straight out of a horror movie. Awesome Christian lyrics, too. God bless this band!
Lyrics: To the following Christians listen closely. We bring our light to a new realm, a realm you dare not enter, Passing judgment behind stone walls, behind your absence of understanding. We will crush your walls that dictate where our ministry goes, Don't you ever tell me I'm using God as a gimmick. I'm not a heretic, I'm not a hypocrite; Those insults make me sick from the ones I have fellowship with. We aren't doing this for our own, but for one name holy and alone. These venues are our church, We are the gospel in the darkness, and this is our exaltation. We are the gospel in the darkness; we bring our light to a new realm, A realm you dare not enter, passing judgment behind stone walls, Behind your absence of understanding. Are you listening!!! We'll crush the walls that dictate where our ministry goes, This is our church, this is our worship, gorship!
***** By your definition of Christian, August Burns Red aren't Christians either, because they don't use the term, "Jesus Christ". Impending Doom and many other bands use the word "Lord" or "God" in place of Jesus, and I think it's fine: both Jesus and Jehovah are equally God. Impending Doom makes numerous, numerous Biblically sound references throughout their songs, like Romans 8:37, the book of Job, the book of Revelation, and many other Christian symbolism like the Lion of Judah, serpents, and the Beast. There is also a large difference between hate and anger. There's absolutely nothing wrong with anger in the right context. Jesus got angry, God got angry: if we are all reflections of God, it's natural to have the same emotions God has, right? There's nothing wrong with being angry at sin and hypocrisy and there is nothing wrong with pointing out sin because Christians are called to judge righteously (but not hypocritically). There's nothing wrong with being angry at those who blaspheme God and being concerned for those who do not accept God. Even Jesus expresses anger when he describes himself as the king in the parable of the 10 Minas.
***** Brooke also never claims to be God, in this particular song on which we are commenting on, he is commenting on the backlash of the medium of his ministry. Many Christians ARE too afraid to delve into the culture of heavy metal because of its negative stigma. Brooke is asserting that he is following where God wants him to go and the Church should not restrict that.
Lmao a DeathCore band christian? My friend told me to check this band out so idk. But looking at them and their album covers I doubt this is a Christian band. All the members might be Christians but I don't think they write music about god. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.
@Gerald Iwan 3:Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4:And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 2 Peter 3:3-4 sounds like you. the Lord is still forgiving and has mercy for you. jesus died for your sins i pray you will repent of your evil ways and walk in newness of life because anyone who is in Christ Jesus is a new creature.

Came back to this album after 14 years, and this song still fuckin' SLAPS!!! I couldn't immediately recall all the lyrics (most of em', though), but the RIFFAGE...so fuckin' catchy! I remembered every stop, start, triplet codetta, etc. etc. A shame these dudes don't get as much recognition as they should, for being one of the older acts in deathcore to still be around.

I'm just glad that we have bands like Impending Doom and With Blood Comes Cleansing that have really awesome fans and the band members are awesome as well. I love the lyrical content in the songs, even if I don't believe in God or any other deities. Plus they're not like the so-called "Christians" who go around trying to use their beliefs as a barrier to hurt people.
