No, size is not provided. So, any small bag or purse which ladies generally carry is allowed. It can be taken in addition to cabin baggage allowance.

Hello, is it possible to have the hand laggage AND a backpack, flying in Economy?
This is what I'm trying to figure out. It sounds like they are calling carry-on "hand baggage" at the Qatar website. I don't see anything that mentions a personal item on the Qatar website, but women will definitely have purses so I'm assuming a man can have a small backpack, as long as it fits in the seat in front of you. If anyone knows, please comment. I can't believe this isn't explicitly stated on their website.
Normally, backpacks of standard size are considered as cabin bags. Now, the small backpacks (of the type kids take in school) are allowed as personal item by US airlines. For Qatar, a standard back pack might not be allowed in addition to cabin bag.

Since any single check in bag can nit be more than 32 kg, you have to take 2 bags for 35 kg. You can bring any combination of weight withon allowance limits by size and weight.

If you shift the cabin bag to the check in bag, then there will be charges for overweight if the free allowance limit of check in bag is exceeded.

If it were laptop in laptop bag, it woukd be okay. If it is a backpack, it is also taken as a cabin bag. So, it may not be allowed. Pls double check with airline

You will have to pay for all three bags. One for additional bag, then for two overweight bags. If you want to carry only more weight, then it is better to add weight to 2 bags till 32 kgs and pay for these two.
I have an economy class ticket with 30kg checked baggage, and I want to bring 3 golf clubs/bags, 1 electric guitar and 4 tennis rackets (flights from Indonesia to Doha). Does it mean that I will have additional free baggage for sport equipment and musical instrument?
Electric guitar can be carried in cabin if size is within permissible limits for free. Else, it is paid for as per seat fare. Golf bags are counted towards check in baggage. For carrying so many items, please check with the airline.

Yes, chocolate can be carried. Insulin can also be carried but it is good to have a prescription from the registered and certified doctor. How many phones do you want to take? Airlines does not have issue with it.

If you are flying Economy Lite, allowance in check in baggage is of 1 pc of 23 kg. If flying in other economy class tickets, then allowance is 2 bags of 23 kg each.

I have got my flight soon, I am carrying my laptop bag plus the 7 kg hand carry. If they have issue i will just put it inside my hand carry. If they allow women to carry handbags, they should allow laptop bags as well, got documents and passports to carry in my laptop bag.

The amount of weight of baggage you’re allowed is what ever fair type you’ve paid for or privilege club status
32 kg is the max weight for each check in bag. Free allowance is how much is allowed free. So, 2 bags of 23 kg each is free allowance and if you want to take more than 23 kg in a bag, then you can carry up to 32 kg but on payment of charges. Hope this is clear now!!

You must have been booked on Economy Classic whereas your friends would have been booked on Economy Comfort tickets. Thats the reason for you allowance to be 25 kg and their allowance to be 35 kg per passenger in check-in baggage. You will have to buy more baggage, if you want to carry more.

I purchased my Economy Classic flight ticket through BA as they code share this flight with Qatar. Could you confirm that I can take my golf clubs on this flight in a separate checked golf club carrier at NO EXTRA COST as per this video. I have spoken to BA and they told me to contact Qatar. I contacted Qatar and they told me to ask BA. I’m really confused so I am asking for your assistance. Thanks in anticipation of some helpful assistance.
If you are carrying it within permitted allowance limits of weight and size, it can be carried for free on Qatar. Check this link of the airline www.qatarairways.com/en/baggage/special-items.html for better clarity.
