Ford Transit Cabin Filter How to Change (2000 - 2006)

How to Change a cabin / pollen filter on a Ford Transit from 2000 - 2006, I've also included a Mercedes Sprinter cabin filter change at the end of the video, for comparison.

Hi, usually behind the front bumper either on the chassis rail or on the support bar passenger's side below the intercooler.

Its normally bleed via the expansion tank on Ford Transits.

so having followed your instructions i found where filter should be and its just blank! Yep as in no cover for acces! please explain any help would be great thanks.

What year is it? Maybe someone just got rid of the whole housing if previous work has been carried out.

Same for me, I found the plastic housing for the cabin above the engine injectors but its just a plastic mold with no removable piece... confused.. Mine is 2005 VJ Transit as well..

I think the K&N filters would be better off re[placing the cabin filters as washable and reusable filters where poor filtration or over oiling, isn't going to ruin a motor!
