If I made a sonic mania 2: Opening Cutscene: We see that Team Sonic are fyling on Sonic's Tornado. (They are going on a vacation to west side island.) Then we see Eggman with the Chaos Emeralds. He then, floats off in his Egg-O-Matic. What is he up to...? Story: Eggman uses the Chaos Emeralds to mess with time. And now, Sonic and his friends have to stop him from messing with the timeline. (The Chaos Emeralds are to have an excuse for nostalgia.) Mechanics and stuff: The Time Troublers are a robotic gang created by Eggman, with a Chaos Emerald as a power source. Rosy the Rascal will also be a playable character. Sonic and Tails would have their story, Knuckles will have his own story, and Rosy will also have her own story. You will have to collect all seven Chaos Emeralds by having to defeat the Time Troublers. Sonic has a new ability called the Warp Dash (A faster spindash.) Each of the Time Troublers represent the color of the Chaos Emerald they're holding.

I guess using metropolis past for act 2 kind of make sense.
After Metropolis Zone, I was expecting it to transition to the scraped Sonic 2 Wood Zone, or Meta Junglira Zone from Sonic Triple Trouble.
If sonic mania 2 is real, I wish that you could drop dash on water so like after a jump you can drop dash and glide along the water surface

Or do a super peelout that can go on water (sonic cd) to give it more purpose since you can get hit in it.
Also this sounds crazy but, let sonic use all his moves. So people can mix and match.
Oh and classic modern characters would be cool, like classic blaze with sonic rush dash as her skill. Or shadow able to teleport to higher platforms.
@@lPsychoMax man that would be so cool. We had might and Ray as extra characters as mania plus. We need more characters like shadow rouge,maybe metal(like sonic 4 ep 2) and more. And it will be cool if the phantoms ruby changes reality and the gameplay like changing to a sonic rush style gameplay or like sonic 4(since sonic 4 sucked let's see if mania does it better)
Love how they perfectly remixed the jp version of tidal tempest and the us version!

I LOVE the Angel Island zone with the regular pallete, minus the fire. Looks awesome!

Actually if I would make this game I would focus on bad levels (labyrinth, marble, metropolis...) because it can be nice to see a good level made of a bad one
I love these level redesigns. I wish that there was an entire redesigned Sonic 1 Mod with mania gimmicks. I’m imagining how crazy Starlight and Marble Zone would look.

I wish Sega would remaster all the old Genesis Sonic games the same way they made Mania. If they gave Sonic 1-3 & Knuckles the HD treatment and released them all as a compilation, I'd buy it.
Of all these zones that were presented to us, Metropolis zone was my favorite

suggestion: the boss in carnival night zone should be based off of the infamous barrel from the orginal sonic 3. Like maybe a varation of animal container robot with barrels for fists for example?

• A new zone that takes place in a Halloween area (I'd predict the name Haunt Fest Zone)

• A new zone that takes place in the ruins with lava (I'd predict the name Inferno Ruins Zone)

• Sandopolis Zone
• Metropolis Zone
• Launch Base Zone
• A new zone that takes place in Eggman's New Base (I'd predict the name Herculean Citadel Zone)

May not be the best ideas, but I'd be happy to see any of these. (Of course, usually Sonic games have their own final Eggman Base Zone levels)

Honestly, it's not a good time to make a sequel, but if SEGA decides to make a sequel later on, probably in 2027 or next Sonic anniversary then I'm definitely buying it! (Other than that, great video! 👍)

@@arekrekas213 I agree with you, and maybe the reason is because they're modern, not classic. But Big is 100% NEVER. He can't do anything other than fish for a FROG THAT DOESN'T APPEAR IN *LESS THAN 5 GAMES.*
Shadow could be an incredibly SMALL opportunity to be added into the game - however - again - he's part of the Modern side, not Classic.
For Shadow to be added into the game, they would have to rework the other 5 characters from Sonic Mania (Plus) to make them appear like their modern selves. Such as:
Sonic, Tails, and K-T-E would be made to look like their modern selves.
Ray would be made to look like the one from Archie Comics.
And Mighty - I don't know about him, but they could think of a design for a modern version for him.
