Also there's a lot of places that are taking donations from all over the world for Ukrainian people, research and find place near your home and donate. A little can go a long way for someone that doesn't have much.

There, Poles from all over Poland went to the border and they take refugees to their homes.Almost all cities, towns and villages have prepared all kinds of help for refugees from Ukraine. Many Poles collect gifts for refugees, money, food, clothes, toys for children, and even food for dogs and cats that have been taken with them by refugees. Many Poles came even just to help refugees reach a place in Poland where they have their friends or relatives, they transport them in their cars, often for several hundred kilometers for "one smile" :) When one sees it, the heart rejoices that there is still so much love and kindness in this world. The heart grows when you see the smile of joy of these poor people from Ukraine when they realize that they are in a country where everyone wants to help them and that they will not be left alone.Their smiles of joy and relief reward and delight Poles as the most beautiful reward for what they do for them. I am very proud of my country and my fellow citizens for this selfless help. And I thank all the people from other countries who come to Poland to also help.Remember that this is not the end yet. Any help will come in handy.

Hearing that there are other families and people who are really trying to make the situation and changes even a little easier is hopeful. I’m sitting here in Maine USA not able to hold my tears anymore. I wish I had the ability to provide some sort of comfort or safety, especially for the young moms who’ve left home without anything but her kids and her life. 💔💔

I'm from Poland and I saw it with my own eyes. When I look at this tragedy, tears flow by themselves. In the first days, help came from ordinary people from all over Poland, it was spontaneous help. In the following days, hotels, entrepreneurs, communication, telephony, self-governments joined. A lot of people took women with children to their own houses and flats. It was not uncommon for Polish children to give up their own rooms to accommodate the refugees. Private people collected gifts for the population and the army and transported them. I saw humanitarian transports, a lot of trucks from England. Italy, Holland, Germany and others. On January 12, 2023, 8.5 million reached Poland. Ukrainians and Poland left 3.5 ml.

Small children already understanding the meaning of war. Families separated. How can the world become like this? Surely there could have been lessons learned from so many tragedies historically. Freedom, safety, health, the ability to be together, to have access to food, water, warmth, a home, to make a living, to be peaceful with one another - don't we all want this? But for the embrace of neighbouring countries these people would have been even more lost, afraid. This morning I am in despair yet again - from afar. Yet so many are trying to help too. I hope that the tide of hope and strength of people coming together will overcome the agony. Putin is one man. The world will overcome his tyranny, it should, it must.

When I see children living through these horrible moments I can only say that breaks my heart in two, there's nothing like their ingenuity carry-on their precious toys. They are not even conscious about the situation. Vladimir Putin has a guaranteed ticket to hell and even though he won't be paying the price for all the suffering he's causing to the Ukrainians.
    God bless Ukraine 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Children going through such pain at this tender age. How this experience will impact them is unimaginable. Children speaking so innocently to the reporter about their father fighting in the war. May God protect them and their future.

To all of you who are reading this, we must try to get in touch with the Russian people through social media, personal contacts, email or other means of communication. To tell them with respect what their head of state Putin has set in motion, that innocent people suffer, people who want to live in sovereignty a life in freedom and peace. Let's all, regardless of nationality, use our time to engage with the Russian people who have been taken hostage by their head of state. Maybe find a common ground despite propaganda and so maybe one of you become the decisive drop who will prevent the worst. Putin's threats of nuclear war can only be stopped by the Russian people and the truth. In times when we can connect with anyone in milliseconds from your couch or bed, trying to come in contact with russian people is the least we can do if we value our own lives and the lives of the people we love. Share the appeal with others in your circle of acquaintances, it's the only thing we can do in this paralyzing situation where everyone's lives are being played with. May peace prevail between cultures.

      I love peace.
Both side claim they want Peace but neither side wants to give an inch to the other side.
Why is it that I can see good reasons for each wanting what they are asking for , but by my own countrymen I'm called a traitor
even entertaining the thought , that maybe , my side should GIVE SOMETHING in exchange for peace.p
What will you personally give for peace ?
Maybe if you just quit calling people who want peace, without demanding total capitulation from the other side, traitors to mother Russia or traitors to democracy ?
A person can be a good Russian or a good American WITHOUT DEMANDING EVERYTHING FOR OUR SIDE
Dignity and respect are a two way street.
If each side wants EVERYTHING THIER OWN WAY. then both sides loose.

Its heartbreaking to watch children going through this terror and must be a huge relief to have volunteers offering to take people to their homes. Those volunteers are the kindest people. However, not everyone is there for genuine help; let's not forget the risks of human trafficking , rape and slavery . Some women and children may easily fall in the hands of wrong people ,human trafficking criminals who are using this opportunity to catch vulnerable and desperate people. Some women and children will fall into morden slavery. I just hope there is a way to check the status and background and character reference of every one and register the names , address and contact numbers of everyone offering shelter and the refugees before they are allowed to take people home. This is to ensure safety and to be able to trace where refugees are taken to. This is not to undermine the amazing people who are genuinely helping .
