This was by far the hardest mission in my entire clear of this game. And with that, the most memorable, there were many terrifying and anxiety inducing moments in my time dying over and over again in this mission.

I haven’t passed this level yet because I made a slight mistake and passed the door I was supposed to go to and then I when back to the door and got the code wrong turned around and the alien was right there which scared the heck out of me and then I died imma try again and this time I’ll do it right wish me luck -2021 Edit: I finally passed this level like a couple of weeks ago I am currently on level 10 still kind of struggling but I’m getting there thanks for the tutorial 😀
so i went to A 26 first....not a good idea...becuase now the alien LITERALLy patrols between a28 to a29 's hallway. There is ZERO way for me to get inside a29....i couldnt figure out a solution so i just hacked the game and spawned me more smoke grenades...i think my AI is bugged or something, it refuses to climb back into vents. Just goes back and fourth outside of a28 and a29 cutting me off...
In order to get the trophy for doing this without dying, I cheesed it by reloading to my last save point before the Alien finishes killing me lol. Always moving is something I picked up on after multiple failures, staying in a locker if you're worried is going to be your demise since that will cause the alien to catch up to the area you're in and camp out there forever.
I just recently re-started playing on Xbox One, I never knew about the shortcut back to the doctor, thanks. Will that key card take me directly to the doctor so I can play that recorder too?
I’ve already grabbed the keycard and blueprint and went back to the room but the doctor is standing when I come in and then he just sits and looks at me I don’t understand what else I need to do the objective marker says go back to the welcome center every time I turn away from it
Joe Joe I think I ended up restarting and just watched a video on how to get through because they way I did it I had done an objective that wasn’t supposed to be completed yet because it had not even shown up so I restarted and watched a play-through for the mission.
Indiana Joe wasn’t it 2014, 2015 that this game came out? I mean still the big should be fixed because the only way around it is to restart the entire mission. I remember saving one night because I couldn’t figure out what else I needed to do and waking up and getting back on and playing around on there again only to find that the guy would just stare at me and not say anything even after I had used the code. It ended up working after I restarted but damn it was a pain in the ass.
Indiana Joe that’s cool usually after I play a game like that I never go back but I mean I enjoyed alien so it might be something I definitely play again

Two playthroughs and almost all the achievements and still never knew about that keycard door at the end, so much back tracking because of this lol.

My first playthrough was on hard difficulty, this place killed me so much lmfao
If you have the balls to just walk everywhere the game rewards you for it.
Nice one! Also, you can start running from the terminal to the card and back to the door with the keycard, then it is good to walk.

You can run the entire way if you know where the keycard is and all the way back to kholman

I got that achievement on my first and current playthrough somehow, even without cheesing. It was on normal difficulty though, so that's probably why
Does the alien eventually go away once you get the card? I sneaked out of the room when my radar said he was further, but he instantly found me.

Tip - never trust a video where the player is obviously cheating with ZERO HEALTH.
You don't need health in this level anyways(unless you hide and hold your breath for a LOOONG time). If you're found, you're dead.

I'm assuming by "beginners" you mean stupid people so young they don't know the "Alien" franchise was a thing till "Prometheus" came out.
