Watching: 2/24 and on my 2nd viewing now in a mystified state of mind! The learned skill and secondary talent of this man is just amazing! I spent 6 years studying art in jr/high art classes...(and not one geometry class, what a shame) and I only wish I had this knowledge! Yes...back to the books! And Michael Mentler is on of the people I have been following to try and learn figure drawing and stuf;f; Karl Gnass, Robert Liberace and Caesar Santos are the others. I want to buy all of their educational tutorial videos. Thanks guys! I majored in biology. But, explored working as a painter with no formal training.... .
Amazing! Surely it would take true Talent to produce the drawings that he is able to do. Sadly I say but truthfully I'm not that talented. I don't know if I could ever learn it! I'm Amazed. And very envious. LOL just marvelous!
You can learn anything if you put the work in. He said he copied the Bridgman book 6X!!!! He also said that he used to draw 14+ hours a day!! Talent ain't got much to do with it. The work is what's important now get off the net and put in those hours
