Mark is a bonified badass been with the wwe for 30 years and in the business for 35ish years Vince owes Mark a great deal and for being so loyal to Vince not once considering leaving even when wcw was waiving all that money around. When Sid powerbombed a little jobber, as an 8 year old, it really, truly looked like it hurt like hell. he'd send those jobbers away on a stretcher, and sometimes kick them off the stretcher and slam them again. to me it was amazingly awesome! the Powerbomb is still my favorite wrestling move to this day.

I am an orthopedic trauma nurse by trade. Let me tell you, the fact he can do what he did and does now after an injury like that is a medical miracle and a testament to his determination. People that tall and that heavy (not that he was ever overweight, he's just a big dude) simply aren't supposed to recover from a compound tib/fib fracture like he did. He pulled off a terrific powerbomb to Slater in that 2012 return. Being told you'll never walk again was a big motivation to him. He's 63 now and apparently still looks amazing. What a cool interview.

He says he never looked at it....but if u watch the clip he stares at it....so maybe he's lost his memory due to the trauma? Like I've had injuries and don’t remember the precise moment they occur, just a few mins later

Sid was the first guy to ever win the WWF Championship on Raw when defeated (due to help from Stone Cold Steve Austin) Bret the Hitman Hart on February 17, 1997.

I watched that PPV live that night, great event but horrible to watch Sid get injured. I'll continue to say this though, WCW was better and will always be a better product than WWE was or is today. Watch WCW late 99-2001, then watch a current Raw, Smackdown or WWE PPV, I'll take WCW during that period any day of the week.

To ask a man 6'9 and 300+lbs to do what Sid was told to do was career suicide. And it actually was for Mr. Eudy after it happened until he was able to get surgery on his injury and rehab. His comeback after that horrific graphic injury was nothing short of miraculous. Sure there have been "big men" wrestlers doing moves off the tough rope like Vader, Kane, Undertaker. But that too me is different because when you make it part of your "wrestling repertoire" of moves on a nightly basis you get used to doing them. You also learn to "PERFECT" them. I've followed Sid's career since he was Lord Humongous in USWA and i can't EVER recall him doing ANY top rope moves. So yeah this was unprecedented for Sid to do.

As i first saw that i thought: damn a big boot jumped from the top rope with landing on one leg ?? That was a move never performed by anyone, and that has a good reason like we have seen :( Stupid wcw they earned the dead in 2001 ^^
