It blows my mind that there's no QTE at 1:19 . It wouldn't even be that hard to add, either, literally just make it so that if you succeed, the cutscene proceeds as normal, but if you fail, Kiryu falls instead of Ed. Would have been so sick

At minute 1:21, the incredible fighter that Kiryu is is demonstrated again, showing impressive balance and a very solid base, Kiryu is one of the most spectacular fighters in the history of video games.
Everyone likes making fun of Ed for being a funny ol' big boy, but I seriously think he's underrated. His stance in the game/stance in the underworld, his agile and precise fighting style (Despite looking like Petter Griffin if he was a hardcore assassin who occasionally did coke.) and his very telling and EXTREMELY nice theme. I just wish they gave him more care (It really would've payed off.), it's unfortunate that Yakuza 6 was a bit rushed, 'cause you can see how much they wanted to do with the game.
say what you want about Yakuza 6, this game has the highest amount of amazing boss fights in terms of music, dynamic intro, gameplay and story buildup. Y0 only has Kuze 2nd fight, Lao gui, Shibusawa, Kiwami 1 has Nishiki, Kiwami 2 has Majima, Ryuji final fight, 3 has Mine, 4 has Tanimura and Akiyama final fights, 5 has Majima and Aizawa, but 6 has Someya(1st and 3rd), Ed(1st and 2nd), Koshimizu, Gihan(1st and 3rd), Yuta(burning room), Tsuneo Iwami, the story has the equal amount of epic actions like a Hollywood blockbuster.
I feel like if they made the main villain Ed, and had it that he wanted to take over the triad family and abuse the power he has with the knowledge, Yakuza 6 would have had a vastly more satisfying end boss. Maybe throw in a bit of "you defeated lau kar long, so I'm going to defeat you to prove I'm the strongest."

Mine would tie him to a character who was there at the beginning of kiryu's adventures (well prior to yakuza 0, lau kar long was in 1 and 3 I believe), he's honestly a cooler boss, and he's a more interesting character. You can still have all the beat takeshi stuff and all that, but have ed be the mastermind behind it all, using the war ship as a blackmailing tool like his boss originally had.
