Please pray for me. I deliberately rejected Christ for so long, almost a year. I was a professing Christian for about 1 year, and I walked away with the intention to get saved later, and to just enjoy sin for a little while. I was an apostate and now I am scared I might commit the unforgivable sin. My issue is that I don't want to surrender my sin. I know I can't do it without God but I dont want God. I wish I wanted God, but I'm not sure if that feeling is genuine or not. I still love sin and I wish I didnt love my sin, I'm not sure if this feeling is sincere or genuine. I've been praying for God to make me hate my sin, but I'm not sure if those prayers are sincere or genuine. Please pray that my desire for salvation becomes genuine and sincere and that God saves me.

Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up. After all, you have not yet given your lives in your struggle against sin. Hebrews 12:2-4 NLT How does Corinthians say we are changed to Christ's image? By beholding Jesus's beauty! There are two mirrors we can look at. We can look at ourselves and our sins and weaknesses. And then we can battle these sins, and fight them with all our effort and pray that God would change us and free us. But this is not the most effective. Another mirror we can look at is Jesus. We can see his power, beauty, love and glory. We can fight hard to know God, as opposed to be free from sin, and fight hard to be awed and impressed by who God is. And that's when we truly change to become in the likeness of Christ. Not when we battle on our own, but when we see Christ clearly and are so in love with him that we begin to look like him. Not saying you shouldn't refuse sin when you can, but your efforts should be focused on knowing God. So I want to encourage you to choose one of the gospels, and read it slowly and meditate on who Jesus is as you read it. Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you and to reveal to you God's glory and love and beautiful attributes. Ask God to help you taste and see how good he is. Ask God to free you from any legalism and self-righteousness. Ask him to help you focus your eyes on Him! God bless you! Update me on how you are doing in your journey with God. been struggling with thoughts so hard and been reading the bible but this toughs that blaspheme Jesus The Holy Ghost and God the Father are coming and coming feel like I’m grieving the holy spirit cried 2 times because i want serve God but my thoughts make it almost impossible that I’m questioning my faith and salvation it’s killing me
Romans 6:23 “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus”. Put evil and blasphemous thoughts to death with this verse, and speak truth of your freedom in Christ to your soul and lift your heart up to Him in prayer.
Hey brother hope you are well....I am in the same boat but let it be a motivation factor as you get these wrong thoughts confess who you are in Christ Jesus. Don't let your Identify be based on circumstances or what you think. Learn scriptures and personalise it and proclaim it over yourself when those thoughts come so then you are using the devils tricks to remind you of give thanks to God and glorifying His great name. Wow… having read what you said I realize now this is something common to man. I deal with this. I have cried out to Christ and continue to do so. He will help me. Whatever is the issue that causes this, I know that Jesus Christ, the Lord of heaven and earth, will help. And I keep seeking Him in my devotion life, in His Word, and depend onHim to grant grace and overcoming. He will help me! Christ will help me! He is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him!!

Please continue going to the Scriptures and let it dwell on your mind. Think about it everyday. Abhor what is evil, cling to what is good.
