@Ronan Studs 100% agree. When you first meet a person, all you get is looks. If one is not attracted to the other they gonna go into the date with a "it's a no for me mindset" or even walk away. Looks are so important in todays world and tbh I feel like a lot of people would be actually happier if they gave "less attractive" people a chance cause having a great personality and treating people with respect is what makes your partner truly happy.

I've recently been on a date with a guy who I had never met before and the guy was actually great but he had this big scare at the side of his head and I would be lying if I'd say I wasn't "bothered" by it. I know it's shallow and I was actually mad at myself for letting it be a "turn off". He already had my number and kinda "challenged" me on a 2nd date, he was very smooth about it so I agreed and now we're going out & I feel like I can truly tell him anything. But I'm terrified of introducing him to my friends & family cause I'm scared what they'll say. The idea that you have to "score an attractive partner" is so integrated in society. That + the wave of doubt you are talking about isn't exactly the key to a good relationship. so I thank you for your comment 🙂
@Ronan Studs That is a rather interesting view! I have to admit I've always been monitoring my mindset. Questioning why I think how I think, what influence others have on me. Maybe It is a destructive habit, maybe it is the moral thing to do. I'm not sure. I am a biomed student so I'm used to having a rational outlook on everything, finding anwsers for questions that I ask myself comes rather naturally. If that's any explanation.

The title of this show has always made me feel uneasy- but I'm so glad this show happened! Representation is so important and it's nice to see different people on screen searching for love.
This is not representation-it’s exploitation. The whole intent behind the show is for viewers to be happy that they are not these people. The truth is that many good looking folks have trouble dating as well. “Undateable” in this context is quite offensive.

Swedish and Norwegian would be 1 lang) so yeah 15 is really impressive as a single speaker, but there are sooo many languages (sadly most of them not properly documented & dying)

Well I guess we all have a little awkwardness in us all thus we can relate to their struggle.
They are good people and although we are programmed to blindly admire certain facial, body features and patterns of behaviour, we also recognise how kind and benevolent these people are. I don't really date anymore but when I used to, I have never met anyone quite as nice. I would go with the slender, attractive women and sometimes be in relationships with them, never worked out. If I didn't prefer remaining alone, I would much rather spend the evening with one of these ladies than some of the rotten and egomaniacal women I used to sleep with.

@@GnzGnzBby Spanish is an awesome language though, you should be proud of speaking 2 languages. For me Hindi was the easiest to learn, because I have been watching Bollywood movies for 20+ years now, since my childhood. Farsi is my native language, Dutch was part of my childhood and I learned English almost the same way as Hindi, and of course English was compulsory in every school I studied at. I want to learn Arabic and Japanese too, but Japanese is super hard. My brother studied Spanish in Curacao, and I do understand a few words and numbers, because of him. It's an awesome language, a tongue twister for me lol

Just consider it. you'll feel better too...you won't constantly be on the lookout for your next person to put down to get your surge of power and feeling of importance. you will know deep within yourself that you are powerful because of how many people you have inspired, taught and led and helped to reach their best potential. I've taught close to 7000 people so I feel way cool about it. I have no need to be vicious and use put downs. You must be very insecure. Bullies usually are. Being kind to others gives you a comfortable lasting security. And feelings of peace. Aren't you tired of being angry and on edge all the time? Don't you wonder what peace feels like? Its not out of your reach. It's just one kind act at a time which ends up bringing the totals of who you inspire to 7000. That number is just all my volunteer and paid work experience that I just put on my resume. There's probably more people I met in passing. If I see someone in passing who is crying or talking about self harm or abusing someone or doing something unkind, I always take action to help them.
