New to your channel. Enjoyed the vlog. You made the best decision…continue wfh. The extra $2 would have gone into toll, eating lunch out and gas. I’ve been wfh for almost 10 years. It def gets lonely but u couldn’t pay me $5 more to go back into the office. At that point I would just quit 😂
I love working from home but I only work half days , 3 days a week from home and half day in the office as a administrative assistant. Love your vlog, new subscriber here !
If you don’t mind the commute, that toll, the workplace shenanigans (gossip, personalities and confinement) then go in the office! Only u know ur non-negotiable’s and what works for you. Not all money is good money!!! Mental health is important!
I love WFH, I agree with other people.- the pros definitely outweigh the cons. Don't miss that office gossip, catty co-workers, etc. Plus, less gas money. Now I can sleep in later, stay in comfy clothes, do wash, make dinner at lunch. WFH jobs are so hard to get, too. And even if we have bad days, at least we have them at home. Oh, and winter is coming, that means going out in cold weather, warming up the car, driving on slick roads, etc. Yeah, I'd stay home until I found another WFH job. Lol. Love that app, thanks for telling us about it!
commuting may pay more, but the expenses may eat that 'extra' money up fast. the schedule stinks, but having the ability to get some peace and quiet is immeasurable. it you're getting lonely, invite some friends out more often
$2.00 x80hrs=160 x2=320 month more than half would have been spent on gas and eating out/coffee/tolls/work fits/hair dos nails etc. I spent more on all of that working in the office monthly, more than 320.00 . Plus tickets for speeding to get to work on time 🫠😂 I got atleast 3 a year.
Can you ask your current job for a raise? I would love your schedule! 4 days a week. 1 day off. Yes, it is long hours but I would be maximizing my 3 day weekends fully!! I get you on the socializing aspect though. I am a social butterly and do need social interaction but I realized as a black woman its best to keep it strickly work friendly and have my real friends outside of the workplace.
I definitely love watching your videos ❤ I'm not sure if you covered this before but can you explain how you began your career in prior authorization !!!?? Definitely interested 🙂
Hey there! Yea I actually have a video up explaining how I got the job. It is in the wfh playlist! I’ll talk a little about it in a future vlog too for newcomers!
for this type of work, do you ever 'feel bad' that you have to decline something someone needs? I wouldn't mind a job without phones, but i've never applied to UM because of this fear. im a nurse
I do but I’m the end I stop feeling bad simply because the insurance they choose is the reason they can’t have something. And that’s just not my fault! I think you would do well in a UM role. I work with many nurses and they love it!
I cant say, i want to work from home, but my kids school and daycare is 2 minutes from my current job. Id drive more working from home for me to drop my kids off, come home, thrn pick them up. Unless i change my kids daycare. Which ive considered if it came down to it. But id get sooooo much done. But i also have great pto at my job, so i haven been taking off every friday since memorial day lol. So ahhh, idk
Lmk what you’d do here. - Stay at my current job making $6 more an hour or quit and WFH making $6 less… Current job should be paying me more for my position, that’s why I wanna leave.
For your case I’d stay at my current job making more if you can’t afford to take the pay cut. If you can afford the pay cut then wfh is actually one of the best things! I’m the end it’s up to you but that’s what I would consider! And which job will take more of a toll on you mentally?
Yeah keep working from home. The pros outweigh the cons imo. Plus that lady that was supposed to get back to you and never did is a major red flag.
Yeah I’m thinking we all are leaning to wfh
Thanks ! I thought the same

Agreed!

So true! Agree with all this! I didn’t even think of the other expenses except gas lol

When you put it like that 💀 …. Yikes
I would pass on the fully in office job. If it was a hybrid schedule I would consider.
Yeah hybrid would def be better!
I’m gonna continue doing the commute once a month to our coworking spot

Those are long hours!!! 😮its very hard to wake up that early!! 😣
Very tough but doable when I don’t have to drive in New York in the winter 🤣
I definitely love watching your videos ❤

@ChanelQ_, I was able to find it! Thank you so much! 🩷
Continue to wfh. I just spent the week in office for an onsite and it was exhausting 😅. I definitely cannot work in office every day.
lol I get that for sure!
i love being able to not have to drive to go to work and not needing a car. I do errands by walking.
lol I love that so much
I wish my town was walkable! Def wfh is much better!
Hi, it’s me a fellow procrastinator as well lol. We’re gonna get our lives together sooner than soon boo. You got this! 🤞🏾🖤✨
Haha hey girl hey! You got this !
1:49 I was literally the same way when I lived in New York!!!!
It’s rough up here !

You dont have to talk on the phones all day wfh. I would keep my job if i was you 😂😂
lol you’re right!
I would say working from home. The Lord knows best pray for God to lead you where he wants you to be
True words 🫶🏾
I cant say, i want to work from home, but my kids school and daycare is 2 minutes from my current job. Id drive more working from home for me to drop my kids off, come home, thrn pick them up. Yes pto for corporate jobs is unmatched. Love that for you!
Def do what’s best for you and the family. 🙏🏾
Wfh outside costs too much
Agreed!

@@ChanelQ_ thank Y O U! I took the offer to work from home! I think I will be much happier, thank you for sharing your life with us. Keep it up💖
I'd rather work in office. I'd hate wfh personally.
Different strokes for sure
