I don't know what it is about it that just always makes me feel so happy when I listen to her, it's like all my problems melt away for those short few minutes.
Literally why I watch her. She really helped me through a rough time and makes me feel happy in general.
Its soo god damn good. Gura is like god Tier. It was the best decision she did back then, to audition for hololive. She got better at anything. Entertaining, singing, "meme'ing - she´s just a cut above.
Also having way more fun. From 2018-2020 if you watch surviving stream vods in order, the light slowly leaves her. By April 2020 she is actually so joyless it hurts to watch.

Gura's cover of this song is my very first experience with it, so I was totally caught off guard when it came on the radio the other day. I thought all this time that this song was a soft little love song to sing on a quiet evening, the way that Gura sings it, not that 2000's-esque rock song. Feels weird, man.

Idk what you mean. Reflect, if anything, is the most Gura song. She channeled her heart into the lyrics and gave strong direction over the music.

The words describing her struggle with her old life and who she chose to be-- that was Gura.
The intentional choice of Greek quotes at the start and the end to match her Atlantic lore-- that was Gura.
Sure it is not what we expected, but it is better than expected. Because the song is her brainchild.
