clarification on the Doge. . The first crash was absolutely our fault but the second one after we got the car fixed: we were racing for one hour before someone spun out in front of us. we hit them and that caused the break line to sever
I was spectating on sunday (hope to be racing this year!) and saw you guys pull out of the pits. I said "Hey! The RX8 is making it out on track! Glad to see they've gotten it working!" ...before you immediately pulled back in and started pissing coolant(?) all over the hot pits, haha. But it looked like you fixed that issue and got back out reasonably quickly
Those Malibus were basically updated N-bodies. GM tried FWD in the early 80s and apparently didn't think they needed to learn anything else about it until bankruptcy.
I would like to publicly mention that the Three Pedal Mafia was not at this race and did not drawl the dong in the sand trap ... but we applaud whoever did!
Well, there is and there isn't an option for that A small area a few minutes away from the Circuit de Cataluña (yes, the MotoGp+F1 racetrack) have offroad races for TWO types of moped-like motorbikes... but they basically make them so serious it's not that fun. One group of organizers go for "let's stick a 50cc 2-stroke engine in an adult dirtbike chassis and go race" and end up making bikes worth around $10k while the other group of organizers go for "let's take a Derbi Variant, stick a modern 50cc engine in it and go race", which are cheaper but that chassis is awful. The other type of "shitty" motorbike races are the ones raced usually inside karting tracks. Here the whole thing is the variety of options as you can race GP bikes usually meant for children, 50cc/125cc sportbikes meant for young teens, small-wheel scooters and such. A third type is what I like to call "torture races" and AFAIK they only do them in Japan. Have you ever tried to go around a World-class racetrack while riding something like a pitbike or a barely-modified 125cc sportbike? We are talking about needing 3 minutes or more per lap, lots of crouching and almost no braking going around places like Suzuka and Twin Ring Motegi. The whole problem with motorbikes is that they're very specific, physical to ride and ultimately dangerous (almost any bike meant for adults can kill you). You could try all sorts of regulations and it wouldn't work like LeMons do because even a Honda Rebel will easily hit 100mph around any racetrack and that is no doubt fast enough to end up with a corpse by the side of the track.
@@DanArnets1492 Yeah a bunch of amateurs on $500 motorcycles would be getting brutally killed left right and center. There is no way to put a cage and a harness on a bike.
Hey guys. Owner of the Two Many Wheels escort here... we actually thought about doing something like that but not so much a road race, but an off road race. Limit the the entire amount spent on a bike at $500. Get a couple of buddies and dodge all the trees. We did a sort of a test race but with our normal, modern dirtbikes and it was a disaster. After 2 hours everyone was either wrecked or broken in some fashion. However I am wanting to do a mini moto race with some cheap bike. I think it would be "safer".

@@DanArnets1492 Now while it is sad there can't be a motorcycle LeMons, but you can make a offroad truck LeMons race pretty easy
