Your key must have a immo chip on it to work, if you have replaced the case check if you have moved the immo also.

Probably depends on model / year. The above one is from a Opel Astra G Caravan / Estate.

Bass2423 You will need to have it reprogrammed. In that chips is an unique code matched with your car. I don't know if for Opel / Vauxhall it's possible to program a chip (not a remote) using the other keys / combinations.
