I love the Glock 42 and it’s my daily carry, it shoots great and I have always said it’s not the size of the bullet, but how well it’s placed that does the damage.
Great video. When I need ultra deep concealment carry, I use the 42. I own a few of them along with a few 43’s, the 43x and 48. The 42 with its 6+1 capacity is perfect. All these folks that seem to believe they need 12+1 .380’s, like the Sig 365 makes me chuckle. They might as well carry a heavier 9mm then.
I have a Glock 42 in Orchid color silver rail. I took it out yesterday and I shot 150 rounds no problems at all! It is a blast to shoot and less recoil for sure compared to my Glock 43X! I cleaned my 42 first and racked the slide probably 50 times and left it racked open for a couple of weeks! Don’t know if this made a difference but I sure didn’t hurt anything! I love this little 380! I bought Pierce 1 magazine extensions so it bumped it up a extra round and have a place to hold onto with my pincky finger as well! Great little gun Glock! Well done 👍
Another great review. I would not stand in front of a .380 and that is all I need to know about its effectiveness. I don't own one but I also would not feel unarmed if I did. I like that you keep things real.
My kids got me one for my birthday and I love it. since I don’t have any thing invested in it I’m taking it to the next level it’s basically an $800 Glock 42 Lol, 3 extra magazines, holsters lasers, grips and more. My friends, I wouldn’t do that unless I had total confidence in the G42. It’s a do everything gun.
I carry my pk380 and I'm super accurate with mine up 'til about 10yrds ... and it's been 100% for me .. 380s are easy to shoot everyone should own one ...
I agree. I own all calibers & have many Glocks however after carrying the 43, 43X & 48 I find myself wanting a Glock 42 for summer carry cause 380 has been around a long time & I definitely want one because keeping on target is what matters & a gun I'll actually carry is needed.
I like mine real well..... Always in my pocket n i do shoot off a clip here n there just to be reminded how well it shoots. Also carry a G21 in cold months.
Maybe there could be a conversion with the 42 with the new 30 Super CTD from Federal. I love my 43. I really wouldn’t mind having a 42. God bless man. 🇺🇸
I've been curious if they could do a .30 Super conversion out of curiosity, but I guess we'd also need someone to make new magazines...and, at worst, an extractor
I love my g42. I love my Sig P365 too. I love all my 1911s. I even like my Taurus G2C. I might eventually buy a stainless PPK, just to look at, because you can’t hit anything with it, unless you throw it. God Bless,
I had a .32NAA Guardian Hated it! Horrible, heavy and long trigger pull Got a Colt Mustang pocketlite now, But I've been thinking of the Glock 42 Only I've heard complaints about the trigger pull being heavy... Is that one of the things they fixed for the newest gen? Thanks
I ended up getting a Taurus G2C I can't find anything wrong with it so far The trigger pull is a bit janky, but the pull is under 5# Overall, I couldn't lose for that amount of money ($229)
Grabbed one about a month ago, I have had a few malfunctions with Federal ball ammo, but no malfunction yet with my speer gold dot carry ammo. Does anyone have any suggestions for a range round the 42 likes? I cant practice with $1.00 per round ammo very often
But Glock needs to do something quick because Ruger came out with the LCP Max and now Sig has released the P365 in 380, both guns come standard with a 10 shot magazine. As usual, Glock is late to the game and still can't spell INNOVATE! I'm not a Glock hater, I just want them to be more competitive.
@@radiohobbyist13 , my next option is probably going to be Grand Power, CP380 with 3.3”bbl 12 rds, P380 with 4.1”bbl 15 rds or LP380 with a 4.6” bbl 15 rds, the CP380 is the smallest and most ideal for every day carry but I like the idea of the large capacity 380s.

Our stock Glock 42’s are dead nuts accurate at 20 yards for both me and my wife.

They had an early model production Issue from what I’ve gathered the gen 3 mag largely rectifies that issue.
At 350$ this thing was a no brainer
