Another good video. Love watching these as I chill and do some gaming while it’s way too hot where I am to hit the gold fields.
I usually watch these and some other channels to gather some good knowledge as I break into flower and extra fine gold locally hitting all the old process dumps from way back in the day. We can’t work wet but a lot to be learned how you guys post process your fines.
Thanks a ton for the goodness my dood!

In BC we have to have a settling pond so no dirty tailings water runs back into the river. Then we have to fill in any holes we make. Might have to move to Alberta. Half the work but smaller gold.

Thanks for the comment. Yes we moved some dirt that weekend... But I'd have to guess close to 4 yards, that would work out to just over 3.8 cubic meters.. This river has lots of fine gold to get, easy diggings...the older I get the more I enjoy it, rather then in BC fighting with the builders and just digging down.

Here's a video link to me testing the area I'm working on NSR
      th-cam.com/video/BP3uH6pVREU/w-d-xo.html
Now I know there are other spots that are better and worse.. but this is on my buddy's property and is very convenient, it's a hobby for me but anything between 75-100 specks isn't too bad.. then you have to think about how much work do you want do.. digging into gravel bars are bit better but way harder to dig..I can move more dirt easily from side of banks with less effort...
      Wish you all the best..

Wow! now thats a hobbie! I got into gold prospecting back in 1987 but had to leave the area due to work. Now that I'm retired and back, I can't wait to tool up and get back into this hobbie. I'm doing lots of google searches with google maps for spots along the N S R, but I can't seem to gain any access along the north east section of the river from edmonton to the vinca bridge. It appears that the major companies along that stretch won't allow access.

In other words, pretty much pan only or set up a gravity sluice. Was I told wrong or did you have to get permit for pump.
    Thanks. Lawrence

At 12:40 or so you should snuffer up the gold and little bit of black sands left transfer to a clean pan with less water and backpan from that point and just snuffer up the black sand you pan down I find this works really well
