There aren't any Broholmer breeders in this country to purchase, and like a member of the family from an animal insurance dog-obeisance school and a proper residence like was described on this video for a dog of that size. An informative video of a breed based over the pond's side.
@@animalplatoon The dog shelters are full of dogs that could be euthanized. And this breed is like the unicorn type of dog that quite possibly no one has yet? It will soon be so shameful that a breed like that must be unnecessarily in a shelter to meet his feat.
My inlaws had one - a big male 110-120lbs. Very VERY protective within his own territory (home and garden) and very dominant and intimidating inside - especially towards guests. When I took it for a walk it was completely opposite - docile and friendly like a lapdog. This dog requires a lot of training.
One thing I've seen over the decades especially in Apartment Life, and in general are the mistakes people make in getting a dog that's either a breed that's not in line with their lifestyle and living situation and/or the stereotypical emotional purchases of a dog. In either case 9/10 times there's not thought or planing into the breed and bloodline of the dog or its mixture, and so the dog suffers sadly because the dogs natural needs aren't met and leads to alot of problems either physical/medical or reaction in behavior because of anxiety placed on the pet and leading to frustration and acting out. We all know it but very few want to admit it or just deny it.
Concur this breed if you can find a reputable breeder and buy it; it is not an especially good setting. It's a house environment with a yard & also, if one purchases male sterilization, it is a must. And a dog training center & proper animal medical insurance to pay for dog check-ups like us that walk up-right vertically. In other words, buying this dog for vanity's sake isn't good for you or the dog.
2:23 - that's a Labrador, not a Broholmer. I can tell just by the look (e.g. the fatter 'otter tail'; the shorter legs), but also a Broholmer would tower over a Corgi *way* more than that!
I have never heard of this dog breed before thank you
I always really! Love to expand my dog breed knowledge
