Another good video Ann, paper resist can be magical by just breaking the surface colour or making a layered look and depending how you use it. thankyou for sharing as always x
This is such a great idea. I love all the layers!! I have an old sizzle machine with a bunch of dies that I can use for this. Cant wait to use them again!
Hey Michele. That is a great idea. One day I want to get a machine like that. Im sure you could do all sorts of designs with it. Very cool idea. Thanks as always for watching.
I had a piece that was still wet so i decided to redo it a bit and try this. Here's hoping it turns out. i couldn't see all of the paper when I left! we'll see in 2 weeks.
Hi Shriley. I do understand as you sort of have to think in reverse. Actually it would have been fun to switch the colors and do the green first as an experiment....but as a rule I try to work the light colors first and the darkest color last. 🙂. It could also be a good idea to do test tiles with the colors overlapping and see what look you like more.
I love this video, and the technique. I lends so much opportunity to do other techniques along with the cut outs. Thank you. As a side note, please would you let me know where you got the wide brush. Been looking for over a year.
I picked up a couple of these a couple years back - they are great but the place I ordered them from is gone I'm afraid. Maaco makes a decent one with a clear handle. Good luck!
Wow! You're Amazing!! I really love your work! Thank you for your expert guidance. ❤😊🙏

So easy and beautiful, yet I always get confused as to which color will be where...every time.😉
