Sorry have to disagree. She wasn't grounded and she stuck her ass back too far, giving her a terrible line which meant she couldn't hit the fast moving positions.
Just look at the first three guys. The moves were grounded and clean, even doing those moves as quickly as they did, they could hit every position. They were a pleasure to watch!!!

I'm not a dancer but one of my favorite things about watching these kinds of videos is everyone else in the room is just cheering and hyping each other up like yaaas! Ugh that's the kind of world I wanna live in where we're all just doing us and hyping each other up at the same time.

Literally Maddie has so much conviction in her moves down to the snaps at the beginning of the routine. I'm a 23 year old adult and I will forever be impressed by her performance abilities. She may not be one of those extremely flexible kids that have impeccable technique (although she has amazing technique), but she can sure as hell PERFORM better than the average dancer

Amazing, I took Brian Friedman's Master Class at Pulse Convention, he's unbelievable. But back to Sean Lew, yes he is definitely a stand out. A true story-teller with music thats from an Ariana era of pure pop.

@@emilybui3342 maybe because Maddie was in the middle, the camera kept zooming in on her, and kept cutting Sean out of frame? lol His movements were actually way sharper and more technical than Maddie's if you actually focus on him. The camera just made it hard to do so.
@@NelleBear You're right. His movements were sharper and more technical, but Maddie owned this choreography. I adore Sean, but Maddie's movements were more fluid and lyrical. For that reason, her dancing style suited this choreography better. I would be interested to see what Sean could do with this choreography now though. He's a much better dancer now than he was when this video was filmed.

Who knew. Just another dancer at Aldc in Pittsburgh would grow up to be such a huge star and such an amazing dancer! Maddie just killed it! She sacrificed all of us for that dance.
Some of the main ones from Dance Moms who were originally trained at ALDC Pittsburgh would be Nia Sioux, Chloe Lukasiak, Paige and Brooke Hyland and Mackenzie Ziegler. Some have left though and don't train at ALDC anymore (Chloe, Paige, Brooke)
+Charlotte Cloet yeah I think you only really hear about the rest of them if you're a dance moms fan. Although Chloe did win a KCA a year or so ago so some people must still know her aside from that. I hope nia becomes something too. I think if she focuses on her singing career it would be amazing!

Sean's a bit too rigid and yet sloppy for me. Feels a bit lazy but hiding it with facial expressions and body popping. It's not a game of "who can wait the longest before lightning fast pulling out the move"
So many choreographers just kinda create movements that honestly work for any song, they seem very disjointed. This is very clearly both inspired by and made specifically for this song, and that takes so much talent. Slay me

Wow! Maddie did amazing. We all know she can do amazing dance as well as acting. You can't just tell her to have a blank face, she gets a character and kills it. In this one she was so captivating
I am obsessed with this choreography! It's sooooo good and underrated for some reason. Also, Maddie's great, and Ohhh my goodness there are SO MANY amazing dancers in this! -- but the woman with the hat on in the front after Maddie's group is PHENOMENAL. It just FLOWS out of her. I'm new to this dance stuff... can anyone shed light on who that is? I've looked up the people listed but I can't tell.

BF is SO AMAZING! His Choreobis so fast, skilled, interesting, & unique. Also, Maddie has matured from a small, contrived, semi-fake acting, yet technically good dancer, into Brian’s best companion for Master Classes. Her body-type is actually perfect for ballet ( long thin legs, thin torso, long, thin arms, perfectly-sized head), but it also works perfectly for contemporary, & any other style. She is able to pull off all of the difficult choreography because she grew up learned decent technique (although more ballet while she was growing would have been good). As a result, she aesthetically looks better than any other dancer out there (Besides Brian).

Brian F has the best choreography out there! He never forgets to throw in some technical moves to prove how strongly he does everything - dance, choreo, etc, he is incredible! Maddie is always a favourite. Nothing is too hard for her & her perfect dancer’s body looks good dancing anything & everything. I hope she keeps taking class so her technique stays strong.
The front girl in the third group dances so well, she really stood out for me for some reason.. her moves are more fluid and idk.. just amazing.. They all dance so well..

You're an idiot Alex. She was exactly on time. The rest were behind on time. That is what made Maddie so good. She learns choreo quicker than others and does it right. You can see others forgetting the choreo for a moment here and there. You might need a quicker connection speed so you're video and audio are synced, perhaps? You don't get to asked and paid to perform on television(not counting Dance Moms) countless times when you don't dance on time.

Maddie is getting so much better. I think her footwork is amazing, she should only work a little on controlling her arms, but it's all about learning. I would also love to see Kalani doing this type of choreo, I think it would suit her a lot
