I have used this method to find water lines and coins after my grandpa showed me what to do!! He would find where to dig wells for folks back in the day when they were hand dug , don’t know why it works but it does!
Thanks Jon and MickyMiner, I am working on dowsing, I use rods I made and it use to freak me out a little, not so much anymore but I am also working on useing a pendulum and that still freaks me out a little. I am not sure how and why it works but they seem to work for me. I have never tried a willow before. I added this video to my dowsing and pendulum playlist.. Thank you and good luck, may you always have a flash in your pan..
mandolinman2006 me neither ... I saw my friend Jon doing it....can't dis believe him....would rather use a metal detector my self...but who knows Jon gave me some dowsing stick ...maybe practice makes perfect...thanks for your reply...mickey miner
I knew Jon van Tamelen back in the late 60's early 70's. Some of my fondest memories are or going sluicing for gold along the river out by Devon, Alberta. Me how ex-husband and I along with Jon and his young family would make a day of it. Jon is quite the man and even rowed by canoe with 9 other men across Canada in 1967 to Montreal for the World's Fair. He wrote a book "Canada By Canoe" which can still be found online. I lost track of Jon some years ago but have so many fond memories of those days. Wish I could talk with him again. Great video.

Hi paystreak. Please tell Jon my name back then was Sheila Newbury (my husband was Terry). He and Jon used to work together at North American Inspection. I remember Jon once saying that before a man dies he should do three things: have a son, plant a tree and write a book. Please give him my best and if he wants to contact me I'm on FB .
hi Jon has done all three...he is one of the few remarkable men I have had the good fortune to meet...what hands on life of adventure...still ongoing....sent you a personal message to you on your youtube account with his contact info will pass on yours....his rewrite book is coming out soon ... m
my friend Jon can only find gold...he cannot find water ...who knows why... I'm somewhat skeptical myself but who knows? ...I try at times ...if I feel the dowsing I would be surprised...or more so shocked ..a mystery....thanks mickey miner
the most important thing to do is keep denying what has been fundamental for centuries and leave the good gold your 1000$ metal detectors will never hear like 2 dollars worth of copper will.

Interesting demonstration, thank you. I have no idea where to find a red willow to make a stick, but i'ts still fascinating to see how you use it.

The most important thing to do is to move your hands where you think the gold is.

Have you got a metric one? 🙄
