I must say that is one heck of a jam session , I think the best "Come Back Baby" I ever listened to . It amazes me how many folks have never heard of Hot Tuna Or Jorma & Jack . Or they say , oh are they still around . They just don't know what they are missin' out on .

When I saw Tuna play "Come Back Baby" in 1973, Jorma played like a "wildman"! Long jam lasted much longer than this version, loved it. Still pull up old black and white videos on line from 73-76 at times.

Warren Haynes, Jack Casady, Skoota Warner, Larry Campbell, Bill Kirchen, Barry Mitterhoff, and, of course, the birthday boy himself, Jorma!
Not too damn shabby for a bunch of old farts! (I'll be 71 next month, so I can say that).
Been loving Hot Tuna for more years than I can remember, 40 of 'em, at least.
Keep on groovin', you guys. This was like a deep massage for my spirit.

Bill Kirchen from the much loved and long forgotten Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen
thought I recognized the face but couldn't figure out why
I've checked out some of his updated rambles with "Hot Rod Lincoln" the past few months. funnier than ever.
great lineup here. is there anyone Warren Haynes CAN'T play with and sound right at home?
not that I'm picking out separate guitars here ... just enjoying the mix
      thanks for the roster
and damn youtube's lame spelling+grammar corrections for making accurate spelling inaccurate once again

Man, let me tell you something: I first saw Hot Tuna in 70-71:They were playing a high school gym outside of Philadelphia...Ticket price $5, and they opened for the Mahavishnu Orchestra!
But all these years later, with their friends, they sound better than ever; no 'oldies act'!
God bless all of these outstanding musicians.

Gonna finally get to see Jack & Jorma again in 2 weeks ! It was to happen in July 2020, then July 2021 as part of their 50 year anniversary tour. Last caught them in Aug 2019 at The Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg Pa. Hard to believe that Jack is 77 and Jorma is soon to be 81. I`ve been groovin` on these two cat`s playing for nearly 55 years now ! Nice to see Warren in the lineup. Saw Hot Tuna play Warren Haynes` Christmas Jam in Asheville in 2005. When Dr. Ralph Stanley and band played, Jorma was sidestage taking pictures of Stanley. Always love seeing musicians that I am a fan of showing their fan side !!! These two guys have had a long life and career together. Great musicians never retire, Thank You for all the great music and memories !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Hot Tuna moment.... Two friends and I are 6th row for Hot Tuna electric at the Premier theater in Tarrytown in 1976. Marshall amps to the ceiling. 20 minutes in my friend Mark turns to me and says.... This is the best thing I have ever seen. 2 1/2 hours later he turns to me and says.... Love it Jorma! I am still sorry for missing the chance to meet you. I was working for Stuart McDar years ago and we were going down the road and a truck behind us started flashing headlights and he said that is Jorma. Pulled over and goes back to the truck and comes back with a set of plans. I asked who was that. He says a old friend of mine. Jorma from Jefferson Airplane! I was like omg you didn't tell me! Lol. And it's a small world, I'm from Albany Ohio and moved here to Wisconsin 20 years ago. My best friend here Happy Nelson sat up a benefit show for Jefferson Airplane in San Francisco in the 70s. He said you sent him to see your acupuncturist. Karma ♥️ Peace Brother!

Love Jorma. In fact, I bought a Gibson ES-345 Stereo, cherry red, gold plated
with Bigsby vibrato in 1967 just because I saw him play and that was his axe at
the time. Unreal sound, great player. Very out of tune here, though. But a cool
    jam nevertheless.

Get off your lazy ass and go pay your respects while he is still here. Too few living legends left to take for granted. Go see Warren. Go see Tedeschi and Trucks. Good luck. Happy trails.

I am trying to locate the DVD of Jorma's 70th Birthday Celebration but cannot find it. There was one offered at Amazon, used, for $79.99, nothing at Ebay or at the link above to the Fur Piece Ranch. Nor have I been able to locate it at numerous music related sites for DVDs & CDs, even the obscure sites for "older" music. Any one have any ideas or links?? Thanks.
