Last time I was there I saw several large mutton snapper, baracuda, and almoco jacks. Love that camera. Felt like I was there.

I like the moray eel you have seen ... such majestic creatues to watch when they get out of their homes and swim thorugh the open sea ... and turtles are anyway some of my favourite animals ... what a lovley dive site, thanks also for all the information :)

Thank you. The moray eels are really cool, and we also enjoy encountering sea turtles. St. Croix is an amazing scuba diving destination with several different types of dive sites including the wall, wrecks and a pier. Stay tuned for another video on St. Croix next Saturday.

    Awsom awsome dive !
the water is so clear you guys should put together a video package and approach discovery and the history channels or maybe do a documentary on your island diving for
PBS I'm sure it would be well received your local knowledge of the fish and corals is amazing

Nice video. Just came across this channel and realized I'm pretty sure you were my instructor at Sweet Bottom in 2019.

Great video! How far out is the buoy?

Thank you! The buoy is about 200 yards out to the NNW of the path that leads down to the shoreline. Typically we kick almost straight out and then drift down on the buoy. The entry is also very shallow and rocky, so thick boots work best and we don’t dive this spot when the surf is high. Dive safe - Jeff
