Hello Donna! Thanks for the comment. I haven't tried this route (visiting uk through a boyfriend sponsorship) but I think the process / requirements are the same. Just make sure you have your letter of sponsorship from your boyfriend as part of your documents (to be passed to the embassy). All the best in your application! X

Would it be okay if he can't provide these documents such as CoE, ITR and payslip and I will just be his sponsor? Hello! I think if it’s a sponsored trip he can be okay without financial documents. I believe the sponsor should be the one who should show that they are financially capable so bank statements, payslips of the sponsor are highly recommended. Good luck! 😊

It depends on your visa type. If it's a tourist visa, no medical test is needed I believe. If it's a long term visa like skilled worker visa, I took a tuberculosis test way back then. I hope this helps!

Hello Ella! You can definitely apply for a tourist visa. About the working visa, I believe the process is for you to go back to the Philippines and process your application from there. I don't think it's allowed for you to convert your tourist visa into working visa while in the UK. Although, I highly recommend you seek a professional advice of course. Best of luck! :)
Hi Arana! I think you can still go as long as you can show a proof that a) you can afford the trip; and also b) you will go back home (sa PH). Make sure you have a letter from your employer or any documents telling them you intend to go back after your vacation. Also, you do not need a flight ticket at the time of application. Hello K Rae! I suggest you apply a tourist visa type for your parents. You can write a sponsorship letter telling the embassy you will shoulder all their expenses whilst they are here in the UK. You also need to show proof of your finances like your payslip and/or certificate of employment. They usually approve it especially if you have complete documents. All the best!

Together with his invitation letter? Hello itsmechriz! Sorry for my late reply. Answer is yes - as long as you provide all the necessary documents (you can include the land title too), yo u should be okay. I suggest you apply for a tourist visa first. Visit the UK, go back to the PH and take it from there. Best of luck! :)

Hello Ella! You can definitely apply for a tourist visa. About the working visa, I believe the process is for you to go back to the Philippines and process your application from there. Hi Arana! I think you can still go as long as you can show a proof that a) you can afford the trip; and also b) you will go back home (sa PH). Make sure you have a letter from your employer or any documents telling them you intend to go back after your vacation. Also, you do not need a flight ticket at the time of application. Hello K Rae! I suggest you apply a tourist visa type for your parents. You can write a sponsorship letter telling the embassy you will shoulder all their expenses whilst they are here in the UK. You also need to show proof of your finances like your payslip and/or certificate of employment. They usually approve it especially if you have complete documents. All the best!

1. i plan to visit the UK to meet a friend that i met while i was in hong kong. will that sound suspicious to the consul/immigration? i will still cover my whole trip. we’ll probably just hang out for a few days and he’ll show me around. we have no pictures together just virtual chats. do i need like a letter of invitation even though it’s just an informal invitation from him?
