Because it recorded as "film" not video. You can remaster films with high qualities. For example you can search and watch "1900s world remaster" and you will see it
35mm film will do that magic of 70s and 80s looking like it's footage from nowdays. Imo looks far better than nowdays digital cameras, film imo looks more natural, rarely gets too bright on highlights and when it does it doesn't look just plain white like digital
Love how Brian plays THREE different guitars on this LIVE! That aint an easy thing to do. He has an amazing guitar tech as well as being a genius guitar player.
Why I found this video funny? At 1.11 John was like, went along to the center of the stage, and then he seems like changed his mind, but Brian somehow noticed he's getting closer so he looked to John and tried to move closer to him but John already bassing back to his quarter. And then Freddie did the same thing, move closer to John but he kept looking down, lost in his play. And when Freddie jamming with Brian, John finally joined but "Oh, Freddie's busy with Brian" so he back to concentrating on his bass. Seconds later Freddie and Brian turned to him but John was already back to his world. lol. so cute how they care for each other on the stage--though it seems like it was failed this time. lol.
They’re being thrown off a little because Freddie’s stationary in the center of the stage and they have to move to him instead of the other way around, I think. Also, the three playing guitar are adjusting to each other’s playing on the fly. Apparently they communicated through eye contact in shows because they all liked to improvise and play around with the timing of songs. So yes, they’re all trying to figure out who’s taking which guitar part exactly and at what speed they should play their part. For example, Brian used to have to play a combination of the rhythm guitar part and the lead guitar part onstage, which tended not to be exactly the same each time, so John has to keep an eye on everyone else to keep the sound cohesive.
@@aliceinbookland2137 Yes! they all four were one of the best musical units of all times! SO tight, cohesive and well coordinated. John and Roger where baptized the Sonic volcano and it's only fair for Freddie and Brian to be the Dashing Tornado of Melody...
I'd always seriously respected Queen, but I never payed them very much attention until my boyfriend, a hardcore fan, got me into them. So glad he did. I love you Joshua (and you too Freddie.)
This video is like they just did it live not yrs ago. Never got to see them live but this is even better. Love you queen Freddie no one can ever replace you. Thank you for the video ❤
Banda Queen espetacular, e Freddie um artista completo, tocava alguns instrumentos, compunha belas músicas, cantava bem pra caramba e tinha uma presença de palco maravilhoso
"Crazy Little Thing Called Love" is one of those songs that really lifts my spirits. Very crisp, clear video!! Excellent!! Thank you soooo much for uploading this FreddieM85!!!! 5 stars again! :)) ---Kim
Oh Lord, give us Freddie back for one more tour! ...They'd fly so high in concert, it would only be a step away from heaven! .....oh well, dream on Joe!!!
Ya he was bisexual. He had a long time close lady friend he left his fortune to. But he had a long term male partner in the end. R.I.P. Freddy, we love you till this day. I was a 17 girl when he was a rock star in 1981. He's rock royalty that I adore.
Hello, world. I think that this is the best performance of this masterpiece. I already watched this performance like 200 times I would say, it's EVEN BETTER than Live Aid
Dizem que o Freddie Mercury só precisou de 5 minutos para fazer essa encantadora música e que rende uma homenagem a outro grande astro da musica de todos os tempos, Elvis Presley!

Freddie would have been 65 years old this September. It is interesting to ponder what he would be doing if still alive. He himself always said that he had no intention of running around onstage forever. One has to believe that he would have stopped his live performances at some point. He truly thought he would look ridiculous continuing to prance around as he grew older. Would he have changed his mind about this? We'll never know.
I do. Queen still touring with Adam Lambert so without a doubt Freddie would also still be touring. Also, John left because he knew that they can't replace Freddie, so he would also still be touring with them.

The camera quality for the Montreal show still has me s h o o k
watch "Hungarian Rhapsody"
I'm pretty sure it's been remastered
It took 700 Apple Mac G5's one month to procces the film ( whole concert)

"Gotta be cool, relax"
*Roger drumming his life out in the back*
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Freddie writes a better song in 15 minutes in the bathtub than most artists do in their entire careers
Im definitely feeling he channelled Elvis when he wrote this in the bathtub! LoL 6+3+2023
Real
Hah! Seriously though!
Apart from the singing I love Freddie’s body movements and posture when he’s not moving. He managed to make himself look so cool on stage.
i love how John Deacon dances as he also play his bass guitar ❤️
I was just enjoying watching him clearly having fun [laying his bass.
Freddie Mercury was so g-damn talented, it's ridiculous.
I love how everyone is having fun, performing and jamming out. While Roger, in the back is having full on seizures😂

Women are so in love with Freddie eventhough he's gay. With this looks and charms, who wouldn't?
He's actually bisexual, so they probably know they could possibly have a chance with him lol
Unfortunately for now we in love with death men

He was like: finally I can play guitar like you, Brian! Everytime he seemed to like Brian playing guitar very much xP
He could play guitar before joining Queen, even before joining Ibex and Sour Sea Milk, he was rythm guitarist and singer for them...
Farrohck Bulsara... your always The Best..
Is it weird that I'm jealous of that guitar?
no I'm jealous of literally everything that Queen has ever touched 😂
Yep yep yep! And his eyes are sooooo gorgeous! I sound like I'm 13 again. :o)
Its probably the only song; whenever it has been played live; where Freddie fingers a real guitar rather than air picking on his mike stick.
