At the end of the game after, Leon foul she gives the ball allowing the other team to play instead of complaining at lenght to the referee as Spain did just before.
Spain play such a high line that’s why they look so frantic after losing a ball and have to scramble and cover up for each other. They’ve been beaten on other occasions due to their inability to defend for 90mins. A composed and structured team like Canada which is in their DNA just have to wait for their turn to pounce and they almost got the victory.

@@royroy-qz8xfthey do a lot of possession by playing with the same tactics throughout the game. Opponents just need to force them centrally and don’t give them passing channels along the width to cut in and play the ball just around the 6 yard. That is like majority of their strategy.
Spain inability to keep opponents from scoring is funny because they all look so confused and shock when they lose possession which leads to goals. Like why are you being so casual playing so high up the pitch. What’s worse is they don’t change the strategy of giving Canada some possession and play in behind them. That’s how you beat that Canada stubborn defense. Doing the same ole for nearly 90 mins is mind numbing.
