Our first X3 was bought from new in 2012. We loved that car. An old lady smacked into the back of the car when my wife was driving a couple of weeks back, shunted her into the car in front so our beautiful X3 was written off. Nobody injured, thank Heavens, so that's why we've got a new X3.

Hahah. I drove my friends 2018 m4. I fell in love. So close to buying one but still too expensive 😭. I ended up buying a motorcycle haha. Haha, you absolutely are my friend 😁
The extra money is not for the power, but for the quality inside and outside, features,multimedia, better suspension, better transmission, better mileage, safety, reliability is better BMW then Ford or cheap Japanese (even if you don't agree, try to drive them like a BMW, and 6 months later your at the service ). Better image, better looking, better brand. If you want a car to take you from A to B, is not worth it 20k extra, but if you want to drive it, then you will not compare it to the the cheapest SUV. Corvette over BMW??? 😂😅
I agree with most of your points. I'm just a big corvette fan hahaha. If I want to "drive" a vehicle I wouldn't consider an SUV. They are naturally compromised if you compare to a sports cars....of course. Everyone situation is different. Whatever works. My wife and I have a STI and Cx5. Hey Rachel, thank you for checking out my video. Unfortunately, I have not had the chance to review the x340. I did do a review on the 340i M performance... Acceleration wise it will be similarish. Do check that video out. I think your choice will come down to how much power you want. The 2.0l is enough to be faster than most basic cars. There is some push back in the seat. But if you really like to be thrown back in the seat I would recommend the x340. My wrx has about 263hp. I thought it was a lot but after owning it for a few months I realized I want more power haha. Test drive both SUV and see which one is better. If the x340m fits the budget i would recommend it! If you have more questions please ask away!! I would love to help as much as I can. Great review. The extra horsepower is not just to race it’s all about passing out of slow moving traffic areas. Which sometimes is worth the price.
