Here's how you can make Zaagkicks for Rawstyle & Uptempo. If you use these methods, your kicks will surely sound like Dimitri K, The Dark Horror, Rebelion or Aversion! Everyone in the Harder-Style scene is using Zaagkicks right now, so don't get left behind! ;)

Few tips for mono low end:
- cut the stereo BEFORE distorting
- with Pro-Q use linear phase mode
That way you'll avoid any phasing issues and your low end will be far cleaner

If you wanna mono the bass you can use Kilohearts Slice EQ, don't necessarily need ProQ3, plus, if you do want to use dynamic EQ you can use something like Shade from UVI, in fact Shade has some crazy modulation features possibly rivaling ProQ3 for a lower price tag.

Yeah even the Cubase „frequency“ EQ does all that. TDR nova is free and great, Ozone EQ is free as well. Pro Q is great but not necessary at all, even for dynamic and mid/side eq.

Have you tried to make the tail part in Synth? When I tried to make crossbreed, my kicks were always too short :d

making bass mono can be done with patcher, too
there are a ton of presets and one of them is mid-side eq in the "filter" category, really handy

@@OnPointSamples You can achieve the low-end in mono by using 2 send channels with a parametric eq. On the first you put a low-pass filter and on the other you put a highpass filter. Then you turn the stereo-separation knob to mono on the one with the LP filter. And then if you want you could send both channels to a bus for further editing. So yea, not as comfy as with ProQ, but still possible :D

I have some troubles with my zaagkicks and other kicks, every time I upload a kick on soundcloud or a drop the kicks just sound more bad and there is crackling in the background, does anyone know how I can fix this? Or is it just bad Kick design by me?
Soundcloud upload quality isn't HQ! ;)

A good quality kick or mix should sound good anyware
That's because some gain are out of control mostly that you get artefact on background also SoundCloud give loudness penalty
@@TheTrapperDJ yea I think its the kicks bc I always mix not loud so that I have a lot of headroom, can it maby be that there is to much bass????? idk I still dont know why it happens, sometimes it doesent and other times it does xD
@@i_am_gwan8939 mixing not loud don't mean you're not saturating pre distortion for exemple ^^ remember that, sometimes i see +20db fabfilter eq that are saturating like hell the gain from fabfilter is +20 then the distortion after it clipping like hell
Because the entry gain is very loud
till you know what you're doing that's ok but when you have artefact and you don't know from where it come, that's mean you're out of control on a element on the chain some plugin cab make noise when using to many instance that's why i bounce lot of step on the kick chain by the way i'm more knowed as meltdown from masters of hardcore maybe you already heard something from me ^^

Tips for making zaagkicks:
1: Delete the file containing the zaagkicks
2: Delete the music program
3: Excuse yourself to God for attempting to ruin the almighty Rawstyle genre
Fr normal zaagkicks in uptempo are good. But don't slow it down and put it in Raw. It's absolute earrape.
