Milani makes a tubing mascara that I find to be almost IDENTICAL to the thrive! The first time I used it, I felt the formula was really wet but the next day it was perfect. I use them interchangeably!
Dear Kathleen: I understand completely how you feel. My 2022 was one of the worst years of my life. My mental health affected my physical health (and viceversa) and my surroundings so much that it made each day almost unbearable.
This year has not been great at all. I think that what changed in me is how to go on. Every day I have a reasonable goal to reach and I focus on that. I am more grateful now for what I have than what I don't.
You are a beam of light for all of us. You bring us so much joy.

The laguna cream bronzer is THE BEST. And I have never heard anyone else talk about it until now!
The Caliray tubing mascara was definitely my holy grail of the year. EVERY mascara flakes or smudges on me (even that Tarte tubing mascara). The Caliray mascara is the only one I'll keep repurchasing ✨
The tarte one smudges on me too. I'll have to try the Caliray. So far my favorite mascara is the hourglass tubing one.. in the gold packaging, it lasted me 6 months too so i may continue to purchase it. Everything smudges on me it sucks.

Definitely need to do a video after you have gone through the videos and rounded up the favorites and you could pick your favorites out of that OORR do a miniseries where you try different products from all of your yearly favorites, retesting them or doing different combinations and giving updated reviews.

The only things I’ve bought from a TH-cam rec come from you or Tati. Thrive tubing mascara, coulourpop as a brand, Alamar lip liner, blush, and bronzer, lights lacquer winter candy land, those random pasta bowls lol and cafecito. I love all of the things I have. You give such a great details that give me confidence in what I’m buying and allows me to try brands I wouldn’t if it weren’t for you. Honestly I think your job is so helpful for everyday consumers and I’m glad you’re here because your love for it and your community is half the sell.
I always love your favourites ! I would say mine is Phytosurgence blushes, they are sooooo good, the colours are rich and nuanced, the texture is a melting pleasure, and the price point can't be beat. Theirs eyeshadows are great as well

Oh and I can’t live without my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette Volume II.

I just wanna say something about the ilmakiage palette. I decided not to buy any more eye shadow palettes in 2022 because I feel like I have enough palettes and I don't need anymore. But of course I couldn't resist the ilmakiage/kathleenlights palette. I went back and forth trying to decide if I really need it. I ended up buying it with the reddish eye pencil. Hands down my favorite palette. I'm so glad I bought it, and I DID need it! It's not just the glitters (and usually I hate glitter because it tends to move around, and I don't like glitter on my face, but these just stay on the eyes somehow like magic) but all the mattes are great shades and I just love the whole thing (I didn't use the stickers, but that was a cute concept). I chose the wrong pencil by mistake, but I'm glad I did because it's such a beautiful color that looks great on my eyes. Best palette ever.

YESSS that ITEM beauty mascara is so good! I don’t even use the primer side just the blue side 💙 and it is sooo blue like you said, shows up so bright even on my black lashes, unlike other blue mascaras I have tried that were disappointing.

Best product for 2022 for me was the Iconic London Radiance Booster. So amazing. It’s very comparable to the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter/Elf Halo Glow but just even better. Your skin looks incredible. With a bit of concealer it’s the perfect base 😭😭😭

If anyone is looking to erase pores, try the Kate Somerville exfolikate cleanser it is MAGIC for Pores, texture and adds tons of radiance a little goes a long way. Shop around because you can get 4 ounces of it for around 50 dollars. Don't buy at sephora or ulta way expensive there. I had my fiancee use it and was shocked at what a difference it made on him. Shaved 5 years off his age easy after he used it so then I started using it and was blown away
