I just realized something. Is the reason why BE has Synchros is because Synchros are white and the reason why RE has XYZs is because XYZs are black?

Thanks for running my deck dkayed. It’s like barely rogue (top tier in ur hands) but I love playing it and stealing games from top tier. I initially planned to play necro fusion to make the new fusion by using the gemini in the grave. There’s so many tweaks that can be made w the deck, why I like it so much.
I love this. I've been playing a buster varient before this video was uploaded and it has been catching people OFF guard
It's not the 'best' deck, but it's definitely the most satisfying for me.
That's how I feel about dark magician, just finished a 17 game win streak on kc with it but I just kept opening everything and my opponents seemed to brick alot, I find banishing opponents cards fun XD

@@4PlayerCardGames same . I like recycling Karma of the Destruction Swordsman, and just banishing my opponents Blue Eyes monsters without attacking... just pure enjoyment seeing them surrender after getting their core Blue Eyes cards banished 3 cards at a time
I just use one copy of beast of talwar in the deck, so that summoning Archfiend is always an option, fairly consistent
Honestly, this deck might not be top tier, it's a heck of a lot of fun to customize and play.
And while Slash Dragon is still the superior Red-eyes Fusion monster so far, I am just shocked at how good Archfiend is, and his ability to shut down so many handtraps and battle effects!
I'd say definitely better against some decks, especially those that rely on tons of handtraps

Like right now harpies is a tier 1 deck because how they can bounce cards off the field. A good deck can be not yier 1 and still get you to KOG, but in the current meta red eyes is definiteoy not a tier 1 archetype

We REALLY should've gotten more opportunities to get Red-Eyes Fusion than just buying multiples of the SD, or waiting until we get Dream Tickets, or something like that, by now.
Red-Eyes represents potential, and Konami are just...putting a paylock on that to tap into all that untapped potential.
Like, I get it, at the end of the day, Konami are a corporation, they do whatever they can to make money.
But at the same time, it's kind of ridiculous.
You can use sr tickets sometimes on red-eyes fusion I believe.

Well they’re changing this skill to turn one, no restrictions. So what do you think now, even though its been a while?
When Meteor Black Comet Dragon released, red-eyes will have a very good turn one.
Fusion the monster using red-eyes and mana dragon, mill a monster, small burn, and a floater on your opponent turn. If your opponent pop your back row, save with mana dragon. Pop your monster, it swarms.
You no longer have to wait till turn 4 so this is even better. I got archfiend out on turn 1 and made my opponent quit.
fun fact: you can fuse 2 'Archfiend of Lightning' to make 'Archfiend Black Skull Dragon', (as long as theyre being treated as normal monsters.) you can also fuse Archfiend of lightning with Summoned Skull.
also fun fact, knowing this information wont help you. unless you want to make a Red-Eyes Gemini deck.
red eyes slash dragon with power of guardians is almost unbeatable i used it when i played red eyes
Damn, those were some great duels.
That guy on the first duel had the chance to finish the game but he messed up when he activated his alternative blue eyes effect.
The situation in the last duel happens A LOT with decks similar to this. Archfiend is a complete counter to Twin Burst: Archfiend has higher attack so Twin Burst can't attack over it, and Archfiend blocks Twin Burst from banishing. The Dark Armed also fits Red-Eyes really well, because all the monsters are DARK, and Red-Eyes has hilariously good ability to manipulate the amount of monsters in the GY: 12/20 cards in the main deck directly interact with the GY, another 4 via combos (Black Metal to search Insight or Fusion, Black Metal with Gearfried, Fang with Gearfried). Everything in the Extra Deck interacts with the GY directly. The Dark Armed banish is also completely irrelevant because 8/20 cards are spells/traps, 3/20 are Black Metal, and Summoned Skull (and Archfiend) are dead in the GY as well. Oh and you can even Dark Armed over a monster that has Black Metal equipped, then you get a search, Dark Armed on the field, AND the pop.
just got into duel links and Red- eyes are my fav deck. and i just found out i cant get red eyes kunai with chain because it was a event exclusive card. but like why ??
Not event exclusive. It is in a selection box tho i dont remember which one. You better off wait for it to come in a main box unless youre willing spend more on that particular selection box.
We ever get an update on koa'ki stun after tenki came out? Good In a meta where interrupting a single effect seems to stop a lot of decks lol
I feel like you could of just Substituted Archfiend of Lightning (the Red Eyes Summoned skull) And just put Summoned Skull (the Normal monster card) in the deck instead, Summon it turn 1 or 2 instead of 4. Have 3 Red Eyes Fusions and then 3 Metal Dragons and thats a 6/20 (or 25.25%? chance) to summon Archfiend Skull Dragon turn 1. Or better yet, Turn 2 that way you can attack and get 1200 instant burn damage to your opponents LP
but red-eyes slash dragon is better you rarely need the archfiend and if you need you got the skill but konami shoud've mad it faster at least like ultimate dragons
Archfiend on Turn 1 or Turn 2 is very rarely a good move. On Turn 1, it'll be defenseless and thus open to being destroyed/banished/returned, and since it's level 9 it can't be brought back from the GY. On Turn 2, it can quite often provide an FTK, but at the same time it's now vulnerable to Floodgate/Karma, and then you've lost your one Archfiend. Meanwhile, by having 2 Slashes, you can bait those cards with a Slash summon, then do an Archfiend later.
@@olbaze lol that's exaclty how i use it . after my opponant spends his ressource for outing slash i finish him with archfiend and some times i summoned him along side slash to close up games but in generaly i summon slash 19/20 game and archfiend like 9/20 game and dark armed like 2/20 game.
@@marocmaghrib5524 I play Red-Eyes Baby Dragon, and I've even done it with that. They attack into it while it's face down, I bring out Gearfried, opponent panics and blows an Ultimate Providence, Karma Cut, or a Floodgate to stop the Gearfried search&destroy. Then I just play Insight or Fusion from my hand on my turn and win.
@@olbaze yeah i also run baby but its just a target for insight . his effect is too slow and he needs to be destroyed by battle i wish if was like winda . his effect comes up rarely most of the time they will destroy him by cards effect. it would good for red-eyes to have a maine phase 2 cuz u can crush baby summon gearfried nuke a backrow search black meta then on maine phase 2 you can equip black metal then summon baby back with gearfried or whatever then search fang or whatever you need

The main issue for RE right now is the bad matchup against the current meta bc most of them have either MST or can play around the RE cards (mainly slash dragon) with ez

Seeing Joey crushed Kaiba for a change is refreshing. I see too much Blue-eyes, and seeing Red-eyes beat them makes me really happy.
If an Ancient Gear Reactor dragon declares an atack on the Archfiend black skull dragon (let's assume you have +300 atk from the AG castle), are you still able to use the reactor effect on the damage step to destroy a backrow card?, I just have that question with the interaction of "your opponent can't activate cards or effects", which is not the same as for example Samuray destroyer, he negates the effects during the battle.
I think Reactor activates at the End of the damage step and Archfiend BSD effect is still active at that point bc its effect last until the End of the damage step. I think Reactor is still negated, but don't quote me on it.

Greetings Duel Links Meta, love this red-eyes deck and since I’ve never played links before, I decided to give it a go. So I’m just a lowly beginner, who needs your help, I have the deck built, just trying to get the cards I need to finish it, but I have run into a problem. Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon and Red-Eyes Fang with Chain are unavailable, could you recommend some alternatives for them, just until they become available again, please.
Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon isn't used a lot, because it requires having two lvl 7's (so Red-Eyes Black Dragon or Slash) on the field at the same time. At best that's +400 ATK, the biggest advantage is immunity to destruction and the quick effect to summon from the grave to dodge some cards. For Red-Eyes Fang with Chain, Blast with Chain is the older trap to use.

I eat this deck with cyber dragons, just chalice the fusion on summon then boost nova to 4200 and the end their turn on your turn just summon rampage to clear any back row then before starting the battle phase boost nova again and swing
They limit cards because they slow down the duel but they also make skills that make you wait 4-5 turns. I really can't understand.
Try playing it with Dark Fusion - Malicious Edge/Fiend and Stratos + RE archfiend of lightning

the thing is red-eyes decks not worth the effort its just better to build blue-eyes they are less expensive and far mor powerfull and those duels you've seen in the video are vs trash blue-eyes deck not the opimized ones . cuz if blue-eyes ancients wich they have 6of with any discarf like karma or raigeki its gg for red-eyes

What's the reason to run red-eyes archfiend, isn't it just a brick?
Pros:
1. It is a prime target to send to graveyard, as it puts pressure on the opponent with its effect
2. It enables the red eyes metal flare (xyz) effect. As it is considered normal monster in the graveyard, and metal flare need at least 1 normal monster in graveyard to activate its revival effect
3. It is a prime target for extra burn material for red dragon archfiend (as it is normal monster) in the graveyard.
4. It enables quite a level 7 xyz combo with red eyes flare metal dragon revival effect coupled with red eyes revival.
Cons:
1. It bricks
I personally plays red eyes archfiend only when coupled with red eyes revival. Its not really worth it to summon archfiend with red eyes spirit.

It's fun but only up to legend. Platinum will be difficult cuz it died struggle against the top tiers but with no deranking in plat eventually you'll get to legend.but it in no way can kog

Archfiend black skull needs an archfiend normal monster. Red-eyes Archfiend is only considered normal in field or in grave. As you can't use him for fusion while in grave (unless you use Necro Fusion) then you need to get him in the field and THEN use Red-Eyes fusion. That's a lot of wasted moves just to summon a single monster. You're much better off having Beast of Talwar in your deck, it works for the fusion and is a very common card you propably already have copies of it and you just need one in the deck. That way you can have turn 1/2 Black Skull and use the skill Red-Eyes Fusion instead of Red-Eyes Roulette which makes the deck more consistent.

the things with red eyes cards, many of them are from different box, deck. so its exspensive to pull them all. on top of that, the main red eyes fusion card can only be obtain from buying deck. and you need to pay to get the other 2 fusion card. sad truth :(

And it's funny that you say they are not meta is clearly a lie, and you have no knowledge of what goes on in pvp. I am in the king of games bracket, and all I play against is dark magician, red eyes, and blue eyes. Fought 20 matches today and all matches were blue eyes, red eyes, and dark magician.

Alright so having all my cards banished/negated, etc is totally my fault especially when I have the cards needed to give me the advantage to destroy those. No one has that fancy luck that you have. Most people have to put in more work because of situations like mine. Just because it never happens to you does not mean it doesn't for everyone else.
