Are you doing something like a mindmap or vision board with your word of the year? What’s your plan? By the way, if you do decide to do one, tag me on IG! I’d love to see!
I made a vision board for overarching goals I want to manifest, like dream career, get in shape/lose weight, move out of my current house, swim at a white sandy beach (if possible but I'm staying optimistic about travel in general), meet new friends I can connect with on a regular basis (I'm 29 and it's difficult for me to make friends as an adult), and another focus is self-love BC I want to improve my self-esteem overall and confidence. And a new relationship. That's all in my Vision Board. Lol
I am so in love with this new mind mapping idea, you always come up with the most creative ideas to get my mind working on overdrive and its awesome!! I can see why you love to teach and why your students love you! I already started while I was watching you because I was so inspired by your positive energy and how passionate you were when talking about it.. Plus you used one of my ultimate favorite sticker shops ever!!! I also was planning on incorporating her stickers into this process this year, and now you just 100% sealed the deal for me!! Great minds think alike-so thank you! I am noticing such a huge difference from last year and how it is "clicking" more for me and its so exciting!! This process is a big one, and can be so intimidating, and scary, but you make it less stressful, and fun for me instead! Thanks again for your continued inspiration and for your time, these videos mean a lot to me.
My word of the year is Breathe. I had several traumatic events in 2021, including losing my husband. I appreciated your walkthrough of your process, it made me slow down and really think about what I need out of this new year.
You have inspired me to mindmap!. I have been stuck in between my intentions and annual goals and think this will help. thanks! I love the idea of connecting the word of the year with each category.
Taylor, thank you so so so much. Vision boards don’t work for me neither. I am trying this method and it took me a bit, I had to dig deep to come up with my mind map. I did It and I am proud of it. Thank you for your guidance!!
This is fabulous. Your process is so cool - I love the idea of connecting your word of the year to each specific area. I’m in my first Makselife, and your videos are helping me have fun with it and not get overwhelmed. Thanks for sharing!
I love how your word of the year anchors all the categories together. I have tried the more conventional vision board styles which can be lovely to look at but not at all inspiring and I find after 3 months I stopped looking at the vision board. This process is so intentional and meaningful you have inspired me to get the Makse Companion books just to try it out! Thank you.
Just watched this and while it sounds silly, I actually teared up as all of your goals just resonated with me. I just bought the system and just wasnt sure how do start it or what to do. I really want to do this and so watching this gives me ideas and will help me so much when I get mine and can start it.
I started using Makselife and the goal setting system because of your videos. I am older, raised a family, ready to retire from teaching, and still feel this process is so important. So looking forward to 2022 and moving to a new season!!
Love it. I usually pick a word of the year and get the PowerPoint cultivate what matters and I do a vision board, but this year I am getting a makselife goal I like the different categories and how it seems to work so I want to give it a try. I must like will still do a vision board but I don’t know if I will have a big poster frame one and one my planner as well… my word last year was intentional to live and stop existing but I feel like I haven’t finish with it but I keep thinking for next year FREE or THRIVE needs to be my word. Decisions decisions my OCD isn’t helping cause I like to be done and have everything organized and ready but life runs on it’s time not mine so I will keep mediation on it and see what happens….love your channel happy to see you healing beautiful
I have never done a mind map but I love the way you did yours so I'm glad you seem to be okay with us "stealing" idea :-) I think like you using the same colors repeatedly for the same areas of my life will help me focus, which LOL happens to be my word of the year! I love your videos thank you for sharing and being so open!
I am also very visual. I like how you created the mind map before you did the annual goals. I wish they were in that order in the planner. I already started my annual goals, but you inspired me to skip ahead and find clarity visually before I finish writing my goals. Thanks!
So cool! I did a mind map last year and will do again. It always connects for me visually to organize big ideas that way. I like the little stickers, too. Might do that this year. Add a punch of fun and visual connection to the concept.
I love how this turned out! And your process was perfect. I always write several drafts as well. I've tried the mind map several times and it just never makes me want to come back to use it properly. I end up using an outline format. I have used vision boards a couple years, but they are more pretty to look at than inspiring.
So excited to watch the process! But I just have to ask what you have on your nails?! I love neutrals that just look clean and polished and yours look amazing!
Love this! I’m very visual so this really helped me with not feeling so overwhelmed with this process! You really have this down - it really helps a lot to see this fleshed/processed out so I can pull from your thought process to make my own way of doing this - sometimes I feel like they’re so many categories that it’s too much to work on all these areas without feeling like I’m not making any progress on any area - does that make sense? Anyways love your process thanks for sharing this…
Thank you for sharing your method! I wanted to ask if all the mildliners you use for makse life colors are in the main pack or did you have to buy some separately?
I have all the packs and they’re all mixed up now. But you can get them with two or three packs. Next week during the new launch, they will have a pack of highlighters that match perfectly if you’re looking for that.
You seem to really understand the MäksēLife system. Question: One of my goals is to meet the love of my life/develop a new relationship. Should I place this goal in the Personal category or Family + Relationships? Do you have some guidance I can follow for choosing which category to put it in?
I’d put it in relationships! That’s where I see most people put dating/relationships/marriage/etc. But you can put it wherever you want to! The “things to consider” page is super helpful for this kind of thing. It’s in all the planners and is available as a printable too!
@@tattooedteacherplans thank you! My planner is still in transit but I wanted to get a general idea of my goals BC I mapped some of them out in my PowerSheets. I'm going to try both that and the MäksēLife systems to figure out which one works best for me.

Wonderful video thank you! Not even found part 1 yet, but this one was a breath of fresh, new year air 👌

Breathe sounds like a great word for you! I hope 2022 is everything you need and want for yourself!
This looks so good! I loved the way you incorporated the word for each category into the thought bubbles around them! Soo creative!
Thank you! 😁
You have inspired me to mindmap!. I have been stuck in between my intentions and annual goals and think this will help. thanks! I love the idea of connecting the word of the year with each category.
Thanks for showing the detailed process you took. I like how you walked through it step by step. I’m looking forward to trying this method.
Love this Taylor! Mind maps work best for me too.

You can do this. Take it as slow as you need to. And as Sierra says, “just begin”. 🤍🤍🤍
Watching you goal plan while working on my goal planning!! Thanks for being an inspiration!!
☺️☺️☺️

Loved this!

Fine China by Dazzle Dry. It’s a milky white. One of my favorites from DD!
Loved it! So after this, you complete the annual goals section?
Yes, that’s my next step. That’ll be next weeks video. These ideas from the mindmap will influence what I choose for my goals.
Hi! Enjoyed this video. Could you share the mind map course that you took?
It was a teacher workshop I went to like 10 years ago called Thinking Maps. It’s a curriculum supplement company.

No captions? But the last one had captions. Part three has captions.
If you click the little CC on the video, the captions will come on.
