I think Eddie's records are so well recorded, if you hear them in a bar they burst out of the speakers, obv they're great songs too. It would be great to have a look at some his adlib solos I suppose Im thinking of milk cow blues for instance. he had a brilliant style, were lucky it was recorded becos I suppose most Guitarists of that era only got 10 second solos on singles and the gigs were rarely recorded .
This actually isn't correct to how Eddie himself played it. Eddie didn't use he Bigsby on this song, it's the electric bass that's playing those parts. Watch the live vid of Eddie at the Town Hall Party in 1959.
Yes you are correct sir. The electric bass played with a pick, which is what really creates the sound. Debated talking about playing the bigsby part. I was simply coming from a more practical approach playing live so I embellished. Mainly cause without that and no solo, there really isn’t much to talk about from a guitar playing perspective lol. Thanks for the comment.
Eddie Cochran mon héros depuis plus de 45 ans . C'est celui qui m'a donné envie de plonger dans le rock'n'roll . Super cette vidéo

More Eddie’s tunes would be nice. Tired and Sleepy, Completely Sweet, Sweetie Pie, Pretty Girl for example. 👍
