Thanks for the great vlog of Gabriola Island. I spent my childhood summers in a cabin with outhouse on Law Point, across from Silva Bay Marina in the 1970's. We were going to spend 2 weeks there in June with our future marine biologist daughter at Pages. Stuck in the U.S. until further notice, so now watching video tours.
Aww, well I am glad you enjoyed my video I know its not the same as being there. Hopefully you will be able to make it over soon. I love the island it is absolutely beautiful. What was it like back in the 70’s must have been way different?
Richard Brown you definitely should especially if you have family there. Its a beautiful place and the people are very friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough
Cool series. That ferry ride looked fun. Great looking island. That sandstone was amazing. Yeah, you have to be careful with those ocean currents. That would make me anxious too. Well done my friend. Crow✌️
AS THE CROW FLIES HIKING thank you friend. So much can happen and change out on the ocean you have to be careful but it’s beautiful out there. I loved the sandstone around there it was so unique
'The ocean doesn't give a crap.' No it doesn't so you;re right to treat it with respect although it would not be a laugh caught out at all. Fantastic island Micheal. Love that sandstone and sandy beach? I gotta say I dig cormorants - they're a serious bird. get lots of them in our Wye. Well, good fun mate. Take care over there. Mark
Wye Explorer thanks Mark. I love watching the cormorants flying and hunting out on the water. The sandstone there was like nothing else I have ever seen it was so cool. Thanks for stopping Mark.
Sonny Greenwich Jr haha I love those weather updates. Thank you, that would be pretty awesome if you came back this way I could give you a Super Happy Island Tour or a S.H.I.T. Tour for short.
Lol, I like that you appreciate it. I try not to use the typical music but sometimes I feel like I get sucked into it. Thanks for stopping by and commenting I appreciate that.
You're funny haha, and great vlog 😁 Also, I thought it was funny how you talked about the ocean, as I'm looking into some Bible texts that has some ocean imagery, and it basicly says the same. The ocean is dangerous. -- Anyway, keep it up ❤
Gabriola sure has changed in the last decade..a once inclusive place where people rich and poor could live in harmony...is now a gated community saturated with pretentious and nasty people that have turned it into a superficial suburb.Such a shame.
Great vid, and lots more to see here on Gabriola!
For part two ;D
Thank you, oh yes definitely a part two.

@@AdventuresThings Fairly ceratin I've taken that tour!
And I would try to drop by both your places.
Sonny Greenwich Jr hahaha, was it as entertaining? Probably more so
Krishnendu Kes that would be awesome if you did

@@AdventuresThings Yes well I like to give credit where credit is due. Keep on being original... You deserve a cookie! Or maybe another nanaimo bar :)
I will take either lol and thank you very much

E. T. Brothers hey thank you, ya you gotta have respect for that ocean. Its a beautiful place but it can be dangerous if you’re not careful
You make very beautiful travel vlogs.
Have a couple of questions:
1. Are you using TH-cam music?
2. Are those 360 trick shots imitating a drone?
Thank you very much. I am using TH-cam music and yes those are sort of imitating a drone but nothing beats a drone shot
@@AdventuresThings Mate, you are doing great with the music. Almost seems like you have access to some section of TH-cam music that I cannot find! 🧐🧐
I have a super secret area in there lol. Kidding it takes forever to find a good song and I honestly think Ive run out good ones now
@@AdventuresThings Yeah. That's what I figured. It was cool when you were with epidemic.
Hi Michael, How are you doing? would you please tell me what's the name of a Campsite you're at? thanks
Tim Nhon Bui it is called descanso bay park. You planning on going soon?
@@AdventuresThingsI am trying to book for August 22 - 24 but nothing available 😀, do you any other campsites on Gabriola Island?
You can try Pages marine resort. They have an area but its like an open field not as much of a campground. Might be worth a shot, are you tenting it?
Thank you so much Micheal, where's your next camping video coverages?
*Michael Paul Wright* Which location you liked the most ? ♥️
AngelEyes I really liked Malaspina galleries, I have never seen anything like it before. Which location did you like best?
@@AdventuresThings That riding the wave is awesome

Why do gingers have so many freckles?
If you don't know what you are doing maybe you should not be kayaking
It’s pronounced gay-briola
You know, I felt like I was saying it wrong but just kept going with it.
