Bloodsport was the first Sleep Token i heard and i instantly fell in love. Vessel has such a beautiful voice. He's able to bring so many emotions out of me.
Blood Sport is my cry-in-the-car song. The rawness in his voice makes my heart crack, every time. ETA: Hypnosis is a song that’s meant to show off ii’s skills on the drums and Vessel’s voice talent. They do a fucking fantastic job. This song is sooo addictive for me. I will admit that the beginning of the song had to grow on me the first few times I listened to it, but I now know every word and sing with him. Another reaction I watched, the viewer said that Vessel sings almost like, through his teeth. I don’t know. It’s amazing all around for me.

Hypnosis defo isn’t a filler song, it’s massive. They don’t have a filler song imo but we all have different tastes. You should check out the Will Ramos cover of this and Chokehold. They’re the only decent covers that respect the original (as it’s Wills fave band too). Farmcat 🖤
I was about to say this when I saw your comment. DaddyGoose, you should do one of your double metal reaction to Will's 2 Sleep Token covers: Hypnosis and Chokehold. I think the lyrics for Hypnosis are much easier to understand in Will's version.

Bloodsport made me ugly cry. Tore me down. Hypnosis does too in a different way. Sleep Token are not metal, they make emotional sound scapes by using multiple genres of music. Pure Art. Hypnosis, the album it's from is sinking into water. Slowly drowning, being sucked into the deep. If you listen to the album with that in mind, it makes so much more sense. Hypnosis, being taken over, losing your self.

Farmcat: listen to the album version of bloodsport aswell (privately), hypnosis his vocals are different it's breath and teeth play. Also take into account your going backwards the first 2 albums and eps aren't as produced. Higher, mine, love you want, dark signs, rain and granite are my favourites, jaws and sugar are fantastic and god's is heavier. Xxx

The version of Bloodsport you did is from "The Room Below" which is the superior version. The album version has other instruments.
