I feel ya, they’re finally mixing it up with their sound and threw in a second breakdown early but they follow the same formula for most of their songs.

OK so Within Temptation has evolved a ton as a band over the years. Sharon's vocals used to be much more "airy" and has evolved into deeper tones over the years, as well as the music itself. Not sure where to start on suggestions. Maybe "shed my skin" or "in the middle of the night" as a buzzer beater choice.

I hope you will still watch first recomendation (great colab, btw), because I already known this is not your style, and this song wasn't meant for you as single, just to get a feel for band itself, without colaboration. This song itself is really old, main singer is self taught and whole history itself of band is interesting, just out of curiosity check it out. Nowadays her woice has gone lower as time passes, and if you check out some newer songs they will sound way different than this.

I like the song as a prequel and I love the first high singing notes. I wouldn't skip the song, but I won't put it on a playlist.
