Ok returning to this thing after a while and there are two massive things here that massively bug me - Practically nothing beyond surface level details are used on either side referencing danganronpa, it feels like they just read a vague summary of the first game only and got bored so decided to use that (hell at about 0:42 he says soda which was prime opportunity to reference Kazuichi from super danganronpa 2 since Soda's literally his last name) - The intro for Monokuma at about 0:12 to 0:16 uses the exact same format for a fan project called Brave Danganronpa: Coward's Paradise (Link later down, character intros startinbg in part 2 of prologue if u want to compare) and no credit seems to be given leading me to believe they stole it. Even when I ignore my personal bias, Monokuma loses really badly. There comes a time in this rap battle where he gets very clearly desperate for one of his burns to land.
That fits pretty well with how he'll panic at the end of Danganronpa. I like how its even referenced in the rap with the panic talk screen coming up to show that he is really just trying to roast Freddy

I'm so happy I started watching danganronpa a few days ago
Ok returning to this thing after a while and there are two massive things here that massively bug me
- Practically nothing beyond surface level details are used on either side referencing danganronpa, it feels like they just read a vague summary of the first game only and got bored so decided to use that (hell at about 0:42 he says soda which was prime opportunity to reference Kazuichi from super danganronpa 2 since Soda's literally his last name)
- The intro for Monokuma at about 0:12 to 0:16 uses the exact same format for a fan project called Brave Danganronpa: Coward's Paradise (Link later down, character intros startinbg in part 2 of prologue if u want to compare) and no credit seems to be given leading me to believe they stole it.
There's another vid by WalkAwesomeMovies I recommend with (in my opinion) much better writing if you want to check it out, even if it's visuals aren't as fancy.
