I'm always singing A very Merry Unbirthday and Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat so that backpack and probably the wallet are going to be mine soon. I'm debating on the Steamboat Ears, might get both lol. I'm a huge Cinderella and Gus fan so that backpack is hard to pass up. But like you said I'm not that much of a fan of the newer animation style. Especially what they did to my beloved Goofy! The princesses have all changed their faces and I'm not hating it like the changes to Fab 5 but I'm not overly happy about it either. Also I loved My Little Pony as kid and prefer the older ponies as well.

I have been able to resist the Loungefly empire. Came REALLY CLOSE to buying the Halloween Mickey one and the Dumbo one. My favorites this round are the Alice ones. If Alice would have been in that teacup- that would have done it for me! One I won’t be able to resist is when/if they do one with Baby Bolt with his carrot. ❤️

I also feel that ariel interpretations seem to go wrong. I feel like when an artist gets ariel's eyes wrong....she doesn't look like ariel. For some reason I don't have this issue with Cinderella. This art reminds me of the boxlunch pocahantas bag. I like it. It's not quite chibi art. Its better. The use of eels as straps and the crystal ball.... genius.
I am an animation purest also! I am not totally loving the impression of Cinderella but I also really dislike the new Disney Cinderella with the “TUDE”. I am also a purest with my generations Mickey and Minnie (with the tan face). I know it’s not the original but it’s my original
I'm the OG way back since 89 Little Mermaid fan but I really didn't like the Ursula bag. I side with the heros instead of the villains. Lol. I also didn't like how the scene they used in the crystal ball isn't the scene that Ariel was in from the movie. That scene they used isn't actually from the movie at all and that bothers me for some reason. The wallet is very cute though.
If you are interested in those bags I would suggest pre-ordering them. They're going to go quick. The shipping date has not been released yet for these two bags. However, they will be shipping out in June.

I am so excited for that stitch bag! I am kinda disappointed in their "pride" bag. It just seems lazy at this point. You can't just slap a rainbow on it and expect it to be a pride bag. I really hope Disney steps up their game when it comes to pride like including more flags like the bi flag and trans flag. At this point it seems really exploitive especially after the frozen 2 debacles.
That Stitch bag is so cute! I probably should clarify that I stated that the bag was a Pride bag. However, the bag is actually labeled in the catalog as Rainbow Minnie Mouse. I was just putting two and two together since June is Pride month and the bag is Rainbow. There’s a good possibility that Disney may come out with something for Pride.
Don't change the animation on my princesses or any characters. Backpack for castle sucks cos she is on the back. Purse is better. Hard pass it's not Cinderella.
