I use a 7Dii and 100-400ii for outdoor sports shooting and 10fps means I do miss some key moments in the burst (Like a footballers connecting with the ball or a ball flying out shot between frames).30fps would be overkill, but It would be better to have than not.
Great review. Wish there were more reviews like this - people actually using the camera and discussing their experience. Way too many reviews of people talking about the camera without any actual hands on footage. As they saying goes, talk is cheap. Thanks.
Great video, with awesome footage! Can you do a video comparing the AF of the RF400/600mm lenses on the R5 vs. the R3? Are the AF improvements noticeable in practice?

I would take 1 rf 400mm f2.8 over 10 R3s :) I think the lens made those great photos.

The R3 is a Tank ...Peter mckinen(sp?) strapped his on a fpv drone, crashed and the R3 was fine..Lens was trashed tho..sony is a toy
Sony? With 2 seconds start up time? It is a toy. By the time Sony started up, R3 already taken 60 shots. About 2 rolls of films, in the old days.
