Lajares, Fuerteventura - Guide to what's on - market, shops, restaurants & bars

A trip to Lajares, Fuerteventura - the market, shops, restaurants and bars. We check out the Saturday Craft market in Lajares or to give it its official name Mercado Artesanal de Los Lajares, which takes place every Saturday from 10am till 2pm in the main square (Pueblo Square - Plaza de Los Lajares) and has around 50 stalls selling locally hand-made goods. It’s a lovely event and well worth a visit. There is also live music until around 1pm
Then I walk through the rest of the Lajares main street - Calle Coronel Gonzalez del Yerro and look at some of the lovely shops and also the bars and restaurants.
First I drive down the length of the main street (starting from the Corralejo end) just to show you it from start to finish - starting at the wine bar La Bodega and ending up at El Goloso, French bakery - so you can see how packed with shops, bars and restaurants this great street is.

A beautiful video. I'm very into art and culture and that type of aspect if life that you have shown in the video (I'm a head of art and design in a big secondary school in uk and have been teaching art for the past 19 years) So I'm trying to say I'm arty and collect arts when i visit corralejo yearly but never been there.. .. can't wait to purchase some arts and crafts when I visit next ☺ Kirsty
