How to get difficult uniques: rigwald's curse has a card, the cursed king. These can be found in Caedar Blaidd, a unique map. running uul-netol breaches can get you the anticipation shield, the un-upgraded surrenderer Abyssus and Ryslatha's coil both have multiple uniques attatched to their bases so the trash-to-treasure method is not recommended. They also have no direct upgrade path. You have a 50-50 chance to get Lion's roar when you turn in earth drinker cards. These are found in desert and dunes maps. The cinderswalloe urn requires you to kill catarina. All synthesized uniques require you to go through the synthesis maps zana gives you rarely Running Chayula breaches can get you the red dream, the un-upgraded version of the red nightmare
Rerolled my facebreaker impale champion to try this (basic tree + lethal pride and mana leech gem, no clusters, no expensive nor corrupted gear) and the results were astonishing, although my block is still at 70%. Did Sirus A0 pretty easily (first time defeating him, other builds let me down), could try A6+ next. T16 20% delirium is a walk in the park, gonna try harder ones later. Simulacrum wave 20 done, neither Kosis nor that other boss could scratch me. All in all - thank you for this build. It's speedy, it's tanky AF (even with 3-4k life) and I look forward to upgrading it when I get the chance.

For people struggling with/complaining about gear costs, the herald of purity rings are a luxury here. Not only are they expensive, they put a lot of pressure on your other gear slots. You can get a nice steel ring with life plus accuracy/resists/stats as needed for a fraction of the cost, which will make it easier to put dps items elsewhere or get more damage on the tree. Eventually they are best in slot, but probably should be one of the last investments. For shield, great old ones ward is actually more damage anyway (If you don't factor in reckoning). Or use vix lunaris/magna eclipsis + empower with the herald. Eventually you can look at corrupting them for +1 gems or +2 duration gems for a huge herald buff.
Very true, i bought my first one and my resis were all over the place again, since this build can use quite some uniques there arent many spots left to get your resis from...
Ive been playin POE casually for about 3 years now and theres still alot i dont know. I've always wanted to play a "thorns" type build like I did in Diablo but never knew these skills even existed. You have no idea how excited I was when I saw your video. Thanks for all the effort, can't wait to start building this up. Anyone making guides for ANY game could and should take notes from you, Esoro. You absolutely make worthwhile use of literally every second of the video, and yet, it still doesn't feel rushed either, which is an amazing feat. Hands down the best quality content of this type on TH-cam imo, liked, subbed and recommended to everyone I know who plays PoE.
Pro tip: Uncheck the [automatically equip items] option in the in-game options. yes I speak from experience and I'm blind, I was using an claw for an entire Simulacrum. :) Some of my own thoughts, opinions, pros and cons from playing & minmaxing this build now for a couple weeks: *pros:* - It's really really cheap, i converted from a Lacerate champion and managed to get the basics and then some with just a few ex, very smooth! - The damage with just the base gear is stupid, conquerors are down in 1~ second with a decent bit of min-maxing. - Block is really really strong, you can basically just cyclone through everything, i was very worried that the low hp would be a major issue but it really isn't - As for clearspeed, it's cyclone, it's good. I'd recommend getting as much movespeed as you can to make the build feel better, I'd even sacrifice life/damage for it. Explody chest is also quite nice, I sacrificed life over getting a crit/explode chest piece. - Capping resistances is actually a lot easier than i thought it would be, don't be afraid to get a line or two on a jewel if you have issues capping, worked great. *cons:* - Block is really strong... for the most part, various chaos DoTs, and otherwise big hits will still rip you semi frequently. I rarely die in maps but for content such as AW8 or most notably Kosis in wave 20 Simulacrum can pose a huge threat if you get a bad map layout, not really the builds fault that Kosis likes standing in corners and casting storms, but definitely something to take note of. - Mana. Even with a 30% reduced mana reserve for Herald of Purity helmet with an Enlighten 4 it will get annoying from time to time. I would honestly recommend getting -x mana cost of attack skills on a chestpiece. I picked crit&explody but I might switch to explody&-mana cost. Could also raise level of Precision by a bit if you opt for that, highly recommend. _(as long as you're hitting monsters and you use the mana leech jewel, your mana regens fast enough, so this happens rarely but when it does, it's really bad)_ - I'm putting clearspeed in both sections, it's good but it's not super fast, you may struggle to keep up with the fog especially if your movement speed is weak. Get AoE and movement speed wherever you can. Highly highly recommend, it's a really really great build. Better yet: Equip something in that slot that requires a lot of Int and level gems in that slot. I use an Astramentis to temporarily give me enough stats to equip a Claw that requires 121 int.
What about chaos res? i have no problem dealing with game stuff, but when its kosis wave 20 or sirus a8 i get one shotted, yes im trying to dodge their abilities, but whenever they hit its 90+% hp or one shot
@@MrDoomsday Yeah chaos damage and DoTS get you every now and then, for AW8 I just bring an extra instant life flask, you can also bring one for the last wave of Simulacrum but to me it just seems mostly RNG what layout and modifiers you get. You can also pick the pantheons that give you -% chaos damage taken.

Used this durring ritual league , I think it's time you did another Cyclone build, Slayer got some nice buffs in 3.16, all the other builds are sooo poorly done, so i came back looking for you, your build guides are second to none , thank you good sir
I respecced my duelist to this build last night, definitely doesn't disappoint. A few notes from my short time playing it so far (I have about 10ex invested at this point, got a really great circle ring that was fairly inexpensive for what it rolled): 1. For major god, I went with Arakaali. Damage over time is the biggest weakness in this build. You can soak melee/ranged/spell hits like it's nothing, but bleeding/poison/dot will melt you. Arakaali+shakari gives you a great deal of mitigation. Staunching flask is a must for bleeding. Try to pick up a corrupting blood immunity jewel asap. Some mobs apply it when you hit them, and since we hit more than 6 times a second, those stack super fast and almost instantly kill you. A lot of endgame bosses also apply it with their abilities so it's super useful no matter what. 2. Don't bother getting mana recovery. A single roll of mana leech on a jewel is more than enough. Quick tip: set left click to move only, cyclone to right click. Hold right mouse button all the time but when you're not in the middle of a fight, hold left mouse button too. That'll make you move faster and not eat your mana with cycloning nothing. 3. Reflect phys and cannot regen are the only maps you CANNOT do. Everything else is either super easy or slightly annoying. For a melee build it's super flexible in terms of map mods. 4. Don't overdo it with buying gear before you calculate your resists. The "core" endgame tree in the PoB gives you a fuck ton of all res. I only needed a 38% roll to all three elements from gear to be overcapped. Makes investing into a good amount of armor/life/damage on your gear super easy. 5. Circle of guilt with double herald of purity rolls (phys dmg reduction and herald effect) makes you much tankier, and more than doubles your dps PER RING. If there's anything you should spend your currency on (after gloves/helm/shield), it's these. 6. Buy a 20/23 vaal cyclone. They're pretty cheap and the additional quality gives you 11% increased aoe, which means you'll have a more comfortable time clearing. The vaal cyclone skill itself is a low-key top tier clearing skill. Pop delirium, open strongboxes, pop breaches, round up the 100+ mobs, pop vaal molten shell, pop flasks, vaal cyclone and literally go from 0 delirium stacks to 3 in a couple seconds. Don't sleep on it. 7. Accuracy is a slight issue with this build. Get a jewel with either over 200 accuracy rating or 14% global accuracy.

there is trick too, if use a weapon(wand) wich requirements you normal not have ,... take high roll amulet for example, equip weapon, unequip amu and … weapon is inactive and not count! btw. this let you levell 3 gems free!!!

Just wanted to share a tweak I made. I felt like I needed a bit more mana, and it was hard to get accuracy gear. Also, I personally don't like blood rage. Makes me feel less tanky. So I dropped blood rage, moved some skills around, and linked Precision to the reworked Arrogance skill. It barely reserves any life, BUT. With levels and quality, Arrogance improves the effectiveness of linked auras. So I can squeeze closer to 100% hit chance without taking too much of my mana pool. Might help also for anyone who's switched to the Pride setup.

Just a tip to new players like me. Dont be like me haha. I maxed blood rage, cast when damage taken and molten shell. Blood rage and molten shell wont cast unless you are near death if you max it. I always thought why my damage output was too low (60k to 190k dps) then i went back to this guide and only to find out I've been doing it wrong the whole time, you only need level 7 blood rage and level 1 cast when damage taken. Then boom 190k ish dps to 400k+ dps.
@@ankoo439 Well, the build is great, i killed Sirus and clean t16 maps but man each tiny improvement to the build costs are crazy. The gem in particular is like 10ex minimum with any single good option and in dozens with two :D

This has been my main for this league, it is the best build i ever played so far. Tanky af and oh boy the dmg is real! I got double herald of purity rings a ryslatha's a +1level max facebreaker a precision W.Eye and a crit astral plate with a bottled faith and i pulled over 25m.
@@IDyn4m1CI Well, some people play this game to min-max their characters. There is no damage requirement and noone will judge your character, this is a pve game after all. It is just fun for some people to play on pob the simulation of the build and then try to make it happen ingame.
Started this league with a really bad cyclone build. Rerolled to Esoro's lacerate gladiator. Found this. Rerolled my previously leveled cyclone build into this one with about 25 exas gained from the lacerate starter. Currently spinning gladiatorously around L8 Sirus and all the other content. Can't die. 5/5 Would play again.

All lethal prides give the same bonuses based on the numbers on them, so yo need to test, they gave +2 or +4 for minor passives, the only big change are on notables, where they give a lot of options based on the numbers, so maybe you will get a very useful one on your first try or you will need to swap until you get something. You are not using the Keystone that Kiloava gave so any other variant will do. "But notable passives also get additional mods, which depend on the roll the jewel itself has. Two Lethal Pride jewels that share the same number will give the same notable passive augmentations and are therefore functionally identical. This also means that there are 8001 different versions as far as notable passive changes are concerned." From PoE Wiki. Edit +2 or +4 to strength, sorry.
Hey Esoro, tempted to play this for 3.13, with the patch notes out, and a lot of nerfs across the board, do you think this will be a viable build for this league?
I think it will be. There is only one item changed that effected this build and that was the nerf to Painforge. It is a small damage nerf and I don't think anything else was touched (equipment, tree or gems). POB has already been updated to account for Painforge change so you can look at the 3.12 POB link to see the viability.

The effort you put into these guides is amazing. I love that you take a very popular build (cyclone) and put a twist on it to make it unique or different to be interesting. I am going to try your wild strike raider build because it seems extremely fun.
The names on the jewels only affect keystone passives, the really big ones on the tree. So in the slot esoro chose, there's no real need to have a specific general assigned since there's no keystones allocated there, just divine them until you like what the bonuses to each notable and small node in the area become.
So in 3.11 they removed Lethal Pride Kiloava and as far as i can tell there isnt a good replacement for it, any suggestions on alternatives for that part of the build?
My two strongest and well rounded characters are your Frostblades Berserker and this guy. Your guides help me understand why I am doing what I am doing. I got this guy to level 85 and am decimating everything in my path with little to no fear of death. Having Reckoning go off is so satisfying. I utilized cluster jewels and it works so well. Hex Breaker is especially amazing. I have been rolling over bosses that, up until now, I have feared. Thanks and I look forward to your guide to my next awesome character.

@@GabeSweeney I played this Build last League and I have to say that I was just incredible tanky and had 1.3m Dps (Without OP Gear) I could facetank all Bosses from Simulacrum and it was just insane. I do the Build in few days again with muuuch better gear because I have the currency for it :) When you want to play a really tanky build, you are right here. But surrender and the Amulet are increased in his price. So yeah.. It could be a bit heavier to get all the things if you are a casual player. :)

Seen a bunch of comments that you make the best guides. I have to add that I think GGG should pay you. YOU MAKE THE BEST GUIDES FOR those who don't speak POE as a mother tongue and keep coming back for just good old fun. I try to follow a lot of guides but then they start peaking in acronyms and terms that I have no Idea what they mean, and I get confused , frustrated and quit. I am hoping I can start 3.13 following this build , and they don't nerf something that breaks it. And if you can please update it early if that is the case :P thanks again and for just this one build I subscribed :P Now I just need to figure out what this POB thing is.
I use the jewel with mana leech, but i still have lots of problems with my mana. should I use Enlightment 4, or its better one chest with socketed attks have -15 mana cost?
Yeah, enlightment 4 works, but the -15 mana cost is better. If u cant afford that I recommend using a cheap praxis ring that has a high roll on -mana cost of skills if you want to sacrifice some damage from one of your rings.
By far the best build I have ever redone. I tweaked it a bit, so it fits my preferences, but the main idea of the build is still the same. Nice work! Keep it up. I used 2 steel rings and some cluster jewels.
Good job man! Your guides are so tempting that I tried 3 of your builds despite I finished the league already pretty much. This build must be my favourite so far. Finally a build that deserves to be called ''tanky''. Single target damage is definitely there if I did Sirius 8 without much troubles. Clear speed is not that bad if you choose linear/corridor style maps like Lair or Phantasmagoria. Carry on with good work!
Yeah, it's Doryani's crappy fire boots all over again for me. Wanted to play some Oro flicker when herald staking happened. And lo and behold 4700% price increase, from couple c to 4ex. A rare case when getting tailwind boots is not just better, but also cheaper
I run a different build, Slayer Cyclone with 5.5K hp and a 1.6k energy sheild... Buy anyways -3 channelling mana cost on both rings does it for me. It is pretty much the same build just way more DPS.
There is one simple rule to have fun in POE - Follow esoro's builds! I am playing on standard (am not rich) I've started this build and on lvl 79 I am shredding apart t15 maps on awakaning lvl6 with 6 points in ascendancy , no 21 lvl gems, not even 20 (most of them) . The build is smooth and simple..pure joy and I am not even a melee fan :) Thank you esoro! @@Chris.P.Kreme90 you mean i pob or in game? I am not quite familiar with the lethal pride jeeels and how they work. I've asumed that u just put it into the socket and it works.. I cant see the stats it gives but..
So what you do is go into your game, and hover over the nodes affected by lethal pride and then go into pob and create unique jewel item, type whatever you see e.g 20% increased physical damage into the pob. Once you done all of it you can assign that jewel into the jewel node your lethal pride is in. Pob won't show your lethal pride because there's alot of combinations depending on the rolls so you gotta do it manually like esoro did

Dunno if you figured it out but you did not have the configuration options set up on your POB. The DPS on your POB is about 4.5 million DPS when you tick challenger charges, frenzy, infusion, has blocked recently, etc... Gems are also not maxed which will help a lot
First off I would like to say thank you for your amazing guides. I am fairly new with this gane and it is my first playing this type of game. I am hooked. The possibilities are endless but that is also what makes it challenging. I created a few builds but I was not happy with them so I ended up trying to build a cyclone juggernaut build. I was still not happy until I applied the skills you have in this build. WOW. If not for this I probably would have a hard time clearing the end of act 8. So thank you. Next build will be you wild strike build. That build is insane. Thanks again.
esoroooooo! hurray for the new build. keeps getting better. ive been trying to level some sort of hollow palm cycloner since I've never done it before and its just as much fun this league. its bee great. but i have no idea how ot do things on my own for endgame so your guide offers amazing options and plans to think through. gonna be so mice to get out of my league start storm burst trickster. that thing was fine but ive earned over 30ex net worth and im still on AL 3 ..... so like clearly i need ot invest in something with bigger map clear for delirium and better survivability. best of luck to us all and this has been fun yet again.

Made the build and it's now the best one I have, killed Sirus in the first try, and I never fought him before. Just great! The best build I know now a days. Carried me through Delirium, as the build was the hottest(and expensive) s**t. Now carries me through Ultimatum, after trying out 4 other builds. Guess it will carry me next couple leagues too. Thanks mate.
Hi, got my 36th challenge yesterday and just remembered this video today. . Just wanted to say that when I watched this video I actually had already quit the league weeks before. . I usually watch poe content even if im skipping a league, so I ended up watching this video as it appeared in my feed and got really hyped for this build. I actually never played with a gladiator before (this ascension just didn't catch my attention before) and never used the block mechanic as the main defensive layer. So I was that hyped with all this content that the next weekend I was downloading poe again lol. . My char in the league was a cyclone slayer ( i really wanted to play cyclone this league), but it ended up being pretty bad and extremly expensive (weapons and chest costed SO much), so.. the impale champ was pretty popular at that time and was way more tankier. So I rerolled to champ. The build improved a lot and I got to the endgame. Got 32 WS, beat sirus (not A8), did 23 challenges (yeah, wasnt interested in the cloack). The build was not that smooth, I was dying quite frequently, weapons and chest was 15-20ex each, so I got a little demotivated to continue playing. So I quit. . Watching this video, I actually felt that I was getting EVERYTHING that I was lacking with my champ. Cyclone? Check. Promising defensive layer that I never tried before? Check. NO WEAPONS? Checkkk. Powerful build with a lot of damage? Check too! So... I was already IN. . Now I want to say that the build is actually REALLY good (I took the build as a start and ended up looking at poe ninja builds for later stages). I ended up with 10millons shaper dps and investing more than 40-50 exalteds. Beat everything in the game, t16 100% dlirium, A8 sirus, 36 challenges. And now I wanted to say thank you, I really enjoyed, Im subbing and looking foward for more content in harvest! . Cheers!

I was following the other cyclone champion build which is what everyone is using but I switched to yours since I have the currency to fully convert :) Your guides are far better than anyone else's. Maybe at the end of the league I'll try the storm burst trickster build too

Gonna try this build once again, first time did in heist league, it was pretty successful, imo in this league you need something tankier, so this build should work really well.
Not sure if it was covered but you can run a cheap Sinvicta's Mettle 2-hand axe in your off-set, and when you start a map use that on the first pack to start a rampage buff. Once it has started you just weapon swap back to the shield and the buff stays and grows with each kill.

How to get difficult uniques:
rigwald's curse has a card, the cursed king.
These can be found in Caedar Blaidd, a unique map.
running uul-netol breaches can get you the anticipation shield, the un-upgraded surrenderer
Abyssus and Ryslatha's coil both have multiple uniques attatched to their bases so the trash-to-treasure method is not recommended. They also have no direct upgrade path.
You have a 50-50 chance to get Lion's roar when you turn in earth drinker cards.
These are found in desert and dunes maps.
The cinderswalloe urn requires you to kill catarina.
All synthesized uniques require you to go through the synthesis maps zana gives you rarely
Running Chayula breaches can get you the red dream, the un-upgraded version of the red nightmare
For anyone new sell trash to treasure don't use a 10ex prophecy to get a 1ex shield (chance to get a 1ex shield)

Rerolled my facebreaker impale champion to try this (basic tree + lethal pride and mana leech gem, no clusters, no expensive nor corrupted gear) and the results were astonishing, although my block is still at 70%.
Did Sirus A0 pretty easily (first time defeating him, other builds let me down), could try A6+ next.
T16 20% delirium is a walk in the park, gonna try harder ones later.
Simulacrum wave 20 done, neither Kosis nor that other boss could scratch me.
All in all - thank you for this build. It's speedy, it's tanky AF (even with 3-4k life) and I look forward to upgrading it when I get the chance.
If you hit lvl.100 like I did with this build and have the gear it recommends. You should get over 5k life pool

For people struggling with/complaining about gear costs, the herald of purity rings are a luxury here. Not only are they expensive, they put a lot of pressure on your other gear slots. You can get a nice steel ring with life plus accuracy/resists/stats as needed for a fraction of the cost, which will make it easier to put dps items elsewhere or get more damage on the tree. Eventually they are best in slot, but probably should be one of the last investments. For shield, great old ones ward is actually more damage anyway (If you don't factor in reckoning). Or use vix lunaris/magna eclipsis + empower with the herald. Eventually you can look at corrupting them for +1 gems or +2 duration gems for a huge herald buff.
Carl Gregory it is hard. I could potentially once I reach lvl 100. Make 1000s of exalted with these hard to get items.
The rings arn't even expensive, they're like 1ex in hc...now the shield on the other hand is 10 f'ing ex lol

Ive been playin POE casually for about 3 years now and theres still alot i dont know. I've always wanted to play a "thorns" type build like I did in Diablo but never knew these skills even existed. Anyone making guides for ANY game could and should take notes from you, Esoro. You absolutely make worthwhile use of literally every second of the video, and yet, it still doesn't feel rushed either, which is an amazing feat. Hands down the best quality content of this type on TH-cam imo, liked, subbed and recommended to everyone I know who plays PoE.
Pro tip: Uncheck the [automatically equip items] option in the in-game options. yes I speak from experience and I'm blind, I was using an claw for an entire Simulacrum. :)
Some of my own thoughts, opinions, pros and cons from playing & minmaxing this build now for a couple weeks:
*pros:*
- It's really really cheap, i converted from a Lacerate champion and managed to get the basics and then some with just a few ex, very smooth!
- The damage with just the base gear is stupid, conquerors are down in 1~ second with a decent bit of min-maxing.
- Block is really really strong, you can basically just cyclone through everything, i was very worried that the low hp would be a major issue but it really isn't
- As for clearspeed, it's cyclone, it's good. I'd recommend getting as much movespeed as you can to make the build feel better, I'd even sacrifice life/damage for it. Explody chest is also quite nice, I sacrificed life over getting a crit/explode chest piece.
- Capping resistances is actually a lot easier than i thought it would be, don't be afraid to get a line or two on a jewel if you have issues capping, worked great.
*cons:*
- Block is really strong... for the most part, various chaos DoTs, and otherwise big hits will still rip you semi frequently. I rarely die in maps but for content such as AW8 or most notably Kosis in wave 20 Simulacrum can pose a huge threat if you get a bad map layout, not really the builds fault that Kosis likes standing in corners and casting storms, but definitely something to take note of.
- Mana. Even with a 30% reduced mana reserve for Herald of Purity helmet with an Enlighten 4 it will get annoying from time to time. I would honestly recommend getting -x mana cost of attack skills on a chestpiece. I picked crit&explody but I might switch to explody&-mana cost. Could also raise level of Precision by a bit if you opt for that, highly recommend. _(as long as you're hitting monsters and you use the mana leech jewel, your mana regens fast enough, so this happens rarely but when it does, it's really bad)_
- I'm putting clearspeed in both sections, it's good but it's not super fast, you may struggle to keep up with the fog especially if your movement speed is weak. Get AoE and movement speed wherever you can.
Highly highly recommend, it's a really really great build. Big ups for making such a detailed, idiot- proof guide. thx Esoro

Better yet: Equip something in that slot that requires a lot of Int and level gems in that slot. I use an Astramentis to temporarily give me enough stats to equip a Claw that requires 121 int.
What about chaos res? i have no problem dealing with game stuff, but when its kosis wave 20 or sirus a8 i get one shotted, yes im trying to dodge their abilities, but whenever they hit its 90+% hp or one shot
@@MrDoomsday Yeah chaos damage and DoTS get you every now and then, for AW8 I just bring an extra instant life flask, you can also bring one for the last wave of Simulacrum but to me it just seems mostly RNG what layout and modifiers you get. You can also pick the pantheons that give you -% chaos damage taken.

Used this durring ritual league , I think it's time you did another Cyclone build, Slayer got some nice buffs in 3.16, all the other builds are sooo poorly done, so i came back looking for you, your build guides are second to none , thank you good sir
I respecced my duelist to this build last night, definitely doesn't disappoint. A few notes from my short time playing it so far (I have about 10ex invested at this point, got a really great circle ring that was fairly inexpensive for what it rolled):
1. For major god, I went with Arakaali. Damage over time is the biggest weakness in this build. You can soak melee/ranged/spell hits like it's nothing, but bleeding/poison/dot will melt you. Arakaali+shakari gives you a great deal of mitigation. Staunching flask is a must for bleeding.
Try to pick up a corrupting blood immunity jewel asap. Some mobs apply it when you hit them, and since we hit more than 6 times a second, those stack super fast and almost instantly kill you. A lot of endgame bosses also apply it with their abilities so it's super useful no matter what.
2. Don't bother getting mana recovery. A single roll of mana leech on a jewel is more than enough. Quick tip: set left click to move only, cyclone to right click. Hold right mouse button all the time but when you're not in the middle of a fight, hold left mouse button too. That'll make you move faster and not eat your mana with cycloning nothing.
3. Reflect phys and cannot regen are the only maps you CANNOT do. Everything else is either super easy or slightly annoying. For a melee build it's super flexible in terms of map mods.
4. Don't overdo it with buying gear before you calculate your resists. The "core" endgame tree in the PoB gives you a fuck ton of all res. I only needed a 38% roll to all three elements from gear to be overcapped. Makes investing into a good amount of armor/life/damage on your gear super easy.
5. Circle of guilt with double herald of purity rolls (phys dmg reduction and herald effect) makes you much tankier, and more than doubles your dps PER RING. If there's anything you should spend your currency on (after gloves/helm/shield), it's these.
6. Buy a 20/23 vaal cyclone. They're pretty cheap and the additional quality gives you 11% increased aoe, which means you'll have a more comfortable time clearing. The vaal cyclone skill itself is a low-key top tier clearing skill. Pop delirium, open strongboxes, pop breaches, round up the 100+ mobs, pop vaal molten shell, pop flasks, vaal cyclone and literally go from 0 delirium stacks to 3 in a couple seconds. Don't sleep on it.
7. Accuracy is a slight issue with this build. Get a jewel with either over 200 accuracy rating or 14% global accuracy.

For those having lack of dps ... turn off auto equip, if you pick up a veiled weapon it's gonna equip it and you'll lose all your dps

there is trick too, if use a weapon(wand) wich requirements you normal not have ,... take high roll amulet for example, equip weapon, unequip amu and … weapon is inactive and not count! btw. this let you levell 3 gems free!!!

Just wanted to share a tweak I made. I felt like I needed a bit more mana, and it was hard to get accuracy gear. Also, I personally don't like blood rage. Makes me feel less tanky. So I dropped blood rage, moved some skills around, and linked Precision to the reworked Arrogance skill. It barely reserves any life, BUT. With levels and quality, Arrogance improves the effectiveness of linked auras. So I can squeeze closer to 100% hit chance without taking too much of my mana pool. Might help also for anyone who's switched to the Pride setup.

Just a tip to new players like me. Dont be like me haha. I maxed blood rage, cast when damage taken and molten shell. Blood rage and molten shell wont cast unless you are near death if you max it. I always thought why my damage output was too low (60k to 190k dps) then i went back to this guide and only to find out I've been doing it wrong the whole time, you only need level 7 blood rage and level 1 cast when damage taken. Then boom 190k ish dps to 400k+ dps.

Started this league with a really bad cyclone build. Rerolled to Esoro's lacerate gladiator. Found this. Rerolled my previously leveled cyclone build into this one with about 25 exas gained from the lacerate starter. Currently spinning gladiatorously around L8 Sirus and all the other content. Can't die. 5/5 Would play again.

The lethal pride jewel changed and kiloava blessing was replaced what jewel should I use now?
All lethal prides give the same bonuses based on the numbers on them, so yo need to test, they gave +2 or +4 for minor passives, the only big change are on notables, where they give a lot of options based on the numbers, so maybe you will get a very useful one on your first try or you will need to swap until you get something. You are not using the Keystone that Kiloava gave so any other variant will do. "But notable passives also get additional mods, which depend on the roll the jewel itself has. Two Lethal Pride jewels that share the same number will give the same notable passive augmentations and are therefore functionally identical. This also means that there are 8001 different versions as far as notable passive changes are concerned." From PoE Wiki. Edit +2 or +4 to strength, sorry.

I think it will be. There is only one item changed that effected this build and that was the nerf to Painforge. It is a small damage nerf and I don't think anything else was touched (equipment, tree or gems). POB has already been updated to account for Painforge change so you can look at the 3.12 POB link to see the viability.

Don't let the low hp fool you, the EHP on POB is over 120k, that's literally more than most generic jugg builds.

The names on the jewels only affect keystone passives, the really big ones on the tree. So in the slot esoro chose, there's no real need to have a specific general assigned since there's no keystones allocated there, just divine them until you like what the bonuses to each notable and small node in the area become.
How much dps do you think this build would lose with the recent changes to the the synt rings and the "buff" to HoP?

My two strongest and well rounded characters are your Frostblades Berserker and this guy. Your guides help me understand why I am doing what I am doing. I got this guy to level 85 and am decimating everything in my path with little to no fear of death. Having Reckoning go off is so satisfying. I utilized cluster jewels and it works so well. Hex Breaker is especially amazing. I have been rolling over bosses that, up until now, I have feared. Thanks and I look forward to your guide to my next awesome character.

I do the Build in few days again with muuuch better gear because I have the currency for it :) When you want to play a really tanky build, you are right here. But surrender and the Amulet are increased in his price. So yeah.. It could be a bit heavier to get all the things if you are a casual player. :)

Seen a bunch of comments that you make the best guides. I have to add that I think GGG should pay you. YOU MAKE THE BEST GUIDES FOR those who don't speak POE as a mother tongue and keep coming back for just good old fun. I try to follow a lot of guides but then they start peaking in acronyms and terms that I have no Idea what they mean, and I get confused , frustrated and quit.

It's dead.. Dmg Damage dropped from ~9kk to ~3kk.
I went from 8.4mil to 3.3mil. Reckoning from the shield is literally doing more damage than cyclone itself.

I use the jewel with mana leech, but i still have lots of problems with my mana. should I use Enlightment 4, or its better one chest with socketed attks have -15 mana cost?
Yeah, enlightment 4 works, but the -15 mana cost is better. If u cant afford that I recommend using a cheap praxis ring that has a high roll on -mana cost of skills if you want to sacrifice some damage from one of your rings.
Lethal Pride change forgotten?! it doesnt exist anymore with Kiloava so its not possible to get dancing blows by that jool

Good job man! Your guides are so tempting that I tried 3 of your builds despite I finished the league already pretty much. This build must be my favourite so far. Finally a build that deserves to be called ''tanky''. Single target damage is definitely there if I did Sirius 8 without much troubles. Clear speed is not that bad if you choose linear/corridor style maps like Lair or Phantasmagoria. Carry on with good work!
And boom: 400% price increase on the surrender, and 300% on Guilt ring with HoP buff roll

Yeah, it's Doryani's crappy fire boots all over again for me. Wanted to play some Oro flicker when herald staking happened. And lo and behold 4700% price increase, from couple c to 4ex. A rare case when getting tailwind boots is not just better, but also cheaper
If you don't mind me asking, how do you sustain Cyclone's mana without the "-15 to total mana cost"?
in the guide he states he uses a jewel with mana leech on it. I prefer jewels with +2 mana on hit, as its unaffected by map mods
I run a different build, Slayer Cyclone with 5.5K hp and a 1.6k energy sheild... Buy anyways -3 channelling mana cost on both rings does it for me. It is pretty much the same build just way more DPS.

There is one simple rule to have fun in POE - Follow esoro's builds! I am playing on standard (am not rich) I've started this build and on lvl 79 I am shredding apart t15 maps on awakaning lvl6 with 6 points in ascendancy , no 21 lvl gems, not even 20 (most of them) . The build is smooth and simple..pure joy and I am not even a melee fan :) Thank you esoro!

@@Chris.P.Kreme90 you mean i pob or in game? I am not quite familiar with the lethal pride jeeels and how they work. I've asumed that u just put it into the socket and it works.. I cant see the stats it gives but..

So what you do is go into your game, and hover over the nodes affected by lethal pride and then go into pob and create unique jewel item, type whatever you see e.g 20% increased physical damage into the pob. Once you done all of it you can assign that jewel into the jewel node your lethal pride is in. Pob won't show your lethal pride because there's alot of combinations depending on the rolls so you gotta do it manually like esoro did

Just the flasks alone double your damage. How do we keep those up during boss fights? I think this build is a bit weaker than presented...
So i folowed your build, im at lvl 86, really smooth gameplay and up untill now everything was kinda easy, but i'm stuck at about 2.3 M dps and idk how to push it further. What do you recomend i get. Here is the POB pastebin.com/YPRMkrQw
Dunno if you figured it out but you did not have the configuration options set up on your POB. The DPS on your POB is about 4.5 million DPS when you tick challenger charges, frenzy, infusion, has blocked recently, etc... Gems are also not maxed which will help a lot

First off I would like to say thank you for your amazing guides. I am fairly new with this gane and it is my first playing this type of game. I am hooked. The possibilities are endless but that is also what makes it challenging. I created a few builds but I was not happy with them so I ended up trying to build a cyclone juggernaut build. I was still not happy until I applied the skills you have in this build. WOW. If not for this I probably would have a hard time clearing the end of act 8. So thank you. Next build will be you wild strike build. That build is insane. Thanks again.

esoroooooo! hurray for the new build. keeps getting better. ive been trying to level some sort of hollow palm cycloner since I've never done it before and its just as much fun this league. its bee great. but i have no idea how ot do things on my own for endgame so your guide offers amazing options and plans to think through. gonna be so mice to get out of my league start storm burst trickster. that thing was fine but ive earned over 30ex net worth and im still on AL 3 ..... so like clearly i need ot invest in something with bigger map clear for delirium and better survivability. best of luck to us all and this has been fun yet again.

Made the build and it's now the best one I have, killed Sirus in the first try, and I never fought him before. Just great! The best build I know now a days. So nice to play with, just kill everything that appears, and never stops. Thanks A LOT Esoro, I'm playing since 2012 (closed beta) and it's the first build that I got into +90 just having fun.

Carried me through Delirium, as the build was the hottest(and expensive) s**t. Now carries me through Ultimatum, after trying out 4 other builds. Guess it will carry me next couple leagues too. Thanks mate.

Hi, got my 36th challenge yesterday and just remembered this video today.

Just wanted to say that when I watched this video I actually had already quit the league weeks before.

I usually watch poe content even if im skipping a league, so I ended up watching this video as it appeared in my feed and got really hyped for this build. I actually never played with a gladiator before (this ascension just didn't catch my attention before) and never used the block mechanic as the main defensive layer. So I was that hyped with all this content that the next weekend I was downloading poe again lol.

My char in the league was a cyclone slayer ( i really wanted to play cyclone this league), but it ended up being pretty bad and extremly expensive (weapons and chest costed SO much), so.. the impale champ was pretty popular at that time and was way more tankier. So I rerolled to champ. The build improved a lot and I got to the endgame. Got 32 WS, beat sirus (not A8), did 23 challenges (yeah, wasnt interested in the cloack). The build was not that smooth, I was dying quite frequently, weapons and chest was 15-20ex each, so I got a little demotivated to continue playing. So I quit.

Watching this video, I actually felt that I was getting EVERYTHING that I was lacking with my champ. Cyclone? Check. Promising defensive layer that I never tried before? Check. NO WEAPONS? Checkkk. Powerful build with a lot of damage? Check too! So... I was already IN.
.
Now I want to say that the build is actually REALLY good (I took the build as a start and ended up looking at poe ninja builds for later stages). I ended up with 10millons shaper dps and investing more than 40-50 exalteds. Beat everything in the game, t16 100% dlirium, A8 sirus, 36 challenges. And now I wanted to say thank you, I really enjoyed, Im subbing and looking foward for more content in harvest!

Hey dude jsut wanna say that I love your builds. I started playing this league with your Frostblades berserker and I had a ton of fun with it! Just obliterating maps is awsome!
I was following the other cyclone champion build which is what everyone is using but I switched to yours since I have the currency to fully convert :) Your guides are far better than anyone else's. Maybe at the end of the league I'll try the storm burst trickster build too
Man, this is not just a build guide, this is very close to ART, both în presentation and information. So, as a "spin to win" fan in aRPG games, is impossible for me not to play this build. Thank you for updates!
Gonna try this build once again, first time did in heist league, it was pretty successful, imo in this league you need something tankier, so this build should work really well.
Not sure if it was covered but you can run a cheap Sinvicta's Mettle 2-hand axe in your off-set, and when you start a map use that on the first pack to start a rampage buff. Once it has started you just weapon swap back to the shield and the buff stays and grows with each kill.
