This is why I’m against teens getting life or death sentences in prison, even if it’s 55 years, it should be less. They should get at least 6-10 years in prison. It’s statistically proven that the mind isn’t fully developed at age 13, especially for this young guy who looked up to Trevino like a father figure as a teen... it’s just sad. A good 10 years in prison for a teen is enough time for them to suffer, do a little soul searching and come out a better person in the end. These boys were lost. This is why I’m against teens getting life or death sentences in prison, even if it’s 55 years, it should be less. They should get at least 6-10 years in prison. A good 10 years in prison for a teen is enough time for them to suffer, do a little soul searching and come out a better person in the end. These boys were lost. The jury and judge are no better than the prisoners giving them all that time in there. Shit is scary and torturous. No teen deserves 70 years. I’m not condoning these teens’ actions, I’m just saying due to abuse at home, lack of morals growing up, and getting bullied at school, it’ll drive any teen to bad temper/anger issues that’s festered and boiled inside of them from pass demons.
